And nobody bothers to mention that ozempic is for people with diabetes! My sister who is diabetic had trouble getting ozempic, the drug that she needs to regulate her blood sugar, because all these doctors are prescribing it for weight loss!
My Dad is on the drug too because he is diabetic as well
there is no shortage or deliveries issues, that problem has been resolved they told mem mine was right on time.
I agree ... Ozempic is for blood sugar regulation and diabetes. It's not a weight loss drug.

I stopped drinking in 2009, in 90 days, I lost 60 Lbs. 250 lbs down to 190 lbs. I have weighed 180 lbs for the last 15 years eating a regular breakfast, lunch, and dinner. no diets, no work outs, no gym, just split wood and do yard work. 61 years old now, and can't believe I'm still alive, never mind in pretty good shape. Also, my blood pressure went to 120/80, so no more Atenolol, and cholesterol issues went away as well.
Thats great.. Good for you.
There is nothing more satisfying than a sense of accomplishment and while improving your health at the same time. Priceless.
Still alive.
Alive still.
Good for you, I guess. 😶
MOVE MORE, EAT LESS! Ozempic causes so many problems....it's dangerous.
Quitting drinking will do that. I've always ate well but still had the beer belly until I got off the sauce. Congrats to you for doing the same.

It’s not even healthy. It’s very harmful. Good thing they can’t afford it. People run right out for the new poison.
I was told that once I start it I can't stop. Not looking to be on a lifetime drug.
I would rather be on opioids the rest of my life oh wait I am
Not true. If you make lifestyle choices while on it and stick to those, you can still be successful. Just like weight loss surgery, it is a tool, not an end all be all.
On a serious note, A: Ozempic may not show the serious long term side effects as its a relative new drug, B: the real reason why many obese individuals are reluctant to lose weight IS owing to the Xtra skin and how they might feel!
What's more alarming is that yet again the pharmaceutical industry is pushing their profits up whilst Government still relents on not helping people with the cost of Genuine healthy products!😒
I'm never gonna be on Ozempic and I'm never gonna get jabbed with that poison they were mandating and will again if we let them!
So accurate ❤❤❤❤
'Never' is a very long time.
Why did no one mention the horrible side effects of this drug? Dr. Drew talked about it already.
Oh God, you're relying on "Dr. Drew" as a source of medical information? I agree that people should not be blindly taking these drugs, but "Dr. Drew" isn't a credible source of information.
Dr. Drew is a grifter.

I'm nearing menopause & was the heaviest I've ever been. I hated it and was trying to lose weight, but was getting nowhere. I was pre-diabetic & had high BP. Doctor offered to give me Zepbound (one of the Ozempic-type meds) and in 6 months, I've lost 60 pounds. I feel so much better! And I'm no longer pre-diabetic and my BP is better too. So these meds, combined with exercise are a God-send! I'm very grateful! It's like having gastric bypass without the surgery.
These people are using medications that is needed for actual diabetes and the people who have diabetes i can't get the dosages for my blood sugar because it is being used to make people lose weight
When most people stop diets, they gain their weight back! So people blaming Ozempic that weight gain happens when you stop is not a good excuse for not using it!
have you experienced the side effects?
That's part of what they were talking about... when you start taking Ozempic, you are supposed to never, ever stop.
It’s only a matter of time before they take it off the market. It’s causing lots of problems for people stomachs and intestines people are dying. People are being hospitalized because it’s unsafe.

I am also taking it for diabetes and it does bring my sugar levels down I was on trulicity but the pharmacy hasn’t been able to get it
I’ve just giggled for 5 mins straight!! 🤣🤣
My wife started using it about a month ago. It seems to be an appetite suppressant. I don't agree, but it's put her in the mentality to not snack and do exercise.
A few years ago I heard about a woman who was extremely overweight and she lost like 300 pounds. She had loose skin hanging over her waistline that she call her "apron." A burn unit heard about it and offered to pay for her surgery to remove it if she would donate it to their unit so that people who were badly burned could use it. She did and there was a happy ending.
Around 2:12 when she proclaims that she is a "beacon of health" her right eyelid didnt quite blink in unison with her left one.

One of the best segments! They all got to keep adding to it as well!
I was on ozempic for 8 months, lost 75 pounds, insurance stopped paying for it, since Jan 2024 (I'm type 1 diabetec) they only pay for type 2, and I gained back everything.
My old boss, lost control at 140mph. Stripped his whole back off. He was suspended above the bed, for the best part of a year. They took the grafts off, every part of his torso and limbs. He could have really used a donor.
That depends on if our Gov't will seriously regulate the food processing business in America. So, the answer is yes, at least 30 percent.
You still have to diet if you're going to lose weight. If you take Ozempic and eat the same crap you always eat, it won't work. You need to change your diet and stop eating processed foods and sugar. Eat only fresh low carb vegetables, moderate dairy, and fresh meat, chicken, and fish. This way, when you do go off Ozempic, which is expensive, you'll have a chance to keep the weight off.
If you are able to go off Ozempic after you've been on it. If you change your diet and cut out processed foods and sugar, you won't need to go on it.
From what I understand Ozempic makes you nauseous all the time so you don't feel like eating. Hence you loose weight.
This is from 2 people I know that are on it for weight loss.
@@SpectreTTM I'm taking Mounjaro, which is similar to Ozempic. I don't feel nauseous at all. It just suppresses my appetite so I don't have to eat during the middle part of the day when I'm at work. I'm also on a Keto type diet which is really helping. I eat a good sized supper but I'm still losing weight.
That was hilarious! I laughed like we're supposed to! Thank you.
Greatest segment ever seen 😊😅
Your best episode in some time Amit. Blown away by Karp and your commentary that followed.
I just found out what ozempic was not that long ago, and now I'm wondering how I hadn't heard of it sooner. I hadn't seen my cousin in a few months, so when she saw me she said I was looking good and it seemed like I had lost a lot of weight. My weight has always fluctuated up and down quickly and significantly in short periods of time so I'm used to people commenting on my weight, but I took it as a compliment anyways and thanked her - even though I hadnt really done anything major to achieve it. Then she asked if I was on Ozempic. I'm pretty sure that I had heard the name mentioned before, but I had no idea what it was. I laughed when she told me what it was, but I was confused and had no idea why she would ask that because she knows my weight shifts like it does, and even more that I'm not one for diet fads and the sort. Ever since then, I'm hearing about Ozempic everywhere I turn. 😂😂 Now I understand why she asked me that, and why it is I hadnt heard of it sooner. I guess that's what happens to us women who don't watch The View, MSM TV, or any sort of reality shows - we aren't aware of what crazy things many other women are up to...
Please read directions and especially side effects
Better yet, eat less, move more and save money at the same time.
Well Ozempic you lose the desire for food, so your stomach don't digest the food. And the food in the stomach spoils after 2-3 days...
How am I eating less and gaining weight? The food industry should begin their "quake" with this question.
If you’re eating less volume of food but the food you choose is more caloricly-dense, you gain weight.
I’m ready!

Apparently it works for gambling addicts too.
Just come out with a snack food with Ozempic already in it. Put it next to the Ding Dongs and Twinkies. Can't you see the brand name, "Zingers! Now with Ozempic!"
As a person that had bariatric surgery I can honestly say I wish there was a pill for loose skin. And unfortunately, although you can have surgery to remove it, most insurance companies don't want to pay for it. So, unless you have massive amounts of disposable income, there is no recourse but to live with it.
Eat and EXERCISE best for your health and beauty!
I am a diabetic, I use Ozempic. I am not sure what everyone is raving about. The weight loss is not great and it yo-yo's up and down, lose 5 pounds, gain 5 pounds. You still eat, you still get hungry. I don't understand what everyone is going on about, if I didn't HAVE to take it, I wouldn't. The cost is ridiculous, over a thousand dollars a month.

The drug company should charge weight loss people three to four times the amount, and pass the savings to actual diabetics who need it. I was taking Ozempic for a year and my A1C was really good. The problem happened when the monthly cost shot up to $1450 per month. Some of that is due to the Medicare donut hole, but the underlying problem is how fast you burn through Rx costs to hit the hole. I hope that generic Ozempic will be available soon.

It helps you lose weight because it makes you not want to eat too much. It helps control the amount of food intake. I know people that were on it and went off because their insurance would no longer pay. The people that were in it are still maintaining the lost weight even after being of it.
At my gym I can tell you all of the people who are on ozempic. There’s a woman who has been taking cycle classes for years who’s always been on the chunky side and all of a sudden I noticed her literally deflating! She looks anorexic and her face!…the face looks so gaunt and she has dark circles under her eyes! I was so taken aback by her appearance that I literally just blurted out..are you on Ozempic? And her immediate reply was…no I’ve had so much stress since Christmas that I’ve lost so much weight and I was like yeah right! It’s ozempic..🙄
Novo Nordisk must be loving the sales projections. Their Levemir product ( an Lantus competitor ) is no longer for sale. Guessing they stopped to ramp up Ozempic. All other insulin products for diabetics are basically price controlled by insurance and law. They can sell Ozempic without price discounts. The profits must be pouring in. When insurance is forced to start covering it and the plastic surgery, the weight loss patients will then demand to be entitled to, everyone's rates will go up.
