Much more better with Suzuki Outbords😎
With that price it should have the Yamaha Four Stroke
Love this Boat, you can't sell me on this, it's my dream boat. But Can I get this with the Pilothouse
Brunswick bought mercury, big mistake, then they bought Boston whaler to save mercury and it sunk the BW brand for years until the finally fixed the big Mercury’s. The ones made in China are still crap but the ones made in Wisconsin are absolutely top shelf. Brunswick requires BW install Mercury’s at the factory. BW and Yamaha would be a killer combo. I had a 18 dauntless with a yr 2003 150 Yami and a 24 dauntless with a “black” 225 4-stroke Yamaha. Yami made the first “mercury” four strokes.
Is there a reason why Evinrude E-tec engines are not used in the Whaler line ?
Yes, Boston Whaler is owned by Mercury - the Brunswick Corp.
Did not know that , thanks for the info.
Brunswick bought mercury and shot itself in the foot bc at that time Mercury’s were disasters. Then Brunswick bought Boston whaler and put them on every whaler hoping to save mercury. Boston whaler sales plummeted. It was a requirement if you wanted a whaler. Still is but finally after years of refining, the bigger ones are built in the USA and are excellent motors. Low HP mercs are built in China are are basically crap.
I for one, not buying Whaler for the motor.
This guy should have been fired after marking up that 400k boat with his black dress shoes!
