That is a very nice clock. I've been a big fan of chiming clocks ever since I was a baby. I like the ticking and chiming that they do. They have a hypnotically calming effect on me...so much so that I sleep right through them since I'm so used to them. Thank you for posting this video.
I own this clock. Wife got it for me for a Christmas gift 2014. Looks and sounds beautiful. It stopped working in 2017. The balance escapement failed. Had it fixed. It stopped working in 2019. Said balance escapement failed due to stress from main mechanism. Basically the clock was made incorrectly originally at the manufacturer and was causing all the parts to wear and fail. Now need to get completely new mechanism. I have 6 other mechanical clocks, several from this manufacturer. This one was not a good experience.
@@ogClockTV I would love to get that clock but it is too expensive and the chime sounds a lot like your Canadian triple chime clock and it is very beautiful!!
I have a battery-operated one that hasn't seen nighttime silence feature and it has a three position switch on the back right above the switch the juices between Wynington or West Minister chime and Bradley has a very pretty sound it almost sounds like a battery-operated one even though it's a wind up one and it sounds very pretty one of those the Wynington and sing
The only plastic in this clock is the small, clear plastic, dust cover over the escapement and the hammer pads the strike the chiming rods are soft plastic/rubber.
Why you are so rude? I Like older mantel clocks I still have a Howard Miller clock from 1930s and still working perfect with just oiling every few year
Mike M what did he ever do to you, in fact what you said to him was rude and inhuman, you could have said oh ok sorry, I was wrong, but someone as stubborn and rude as you would never have the heart to mention they are wrong, Howard Miller’s go back a long way and use the same mechanics. I am a clock collector, you have nothing to say

They are only making 2,000 of them. Limited editions. I saw $4,000 for one.
I really like this clock! The chimes are really pretty!
Thank you so very much for this video and I love your professionalism.
That's a gorgeous clock.
When it strikes on the top of the hour It sounds a lot like my Howard Miller 612-581!

This is what the Seth Thomas Dual Chime mantle clock should sound like.
I have a Seth Thomas dual chime clock in my shop. It’s a battery operated clock.
That clock also strikes a very pretty B minor chord
lovely
Can I have it please?
The Whittington sounds like St. Michael’s
Nice one and it's expensive and I have a howard miller 620-453 presidential wall clock
I love this clock. I do want to get this but it’s expensive in general.
You only live once. Treat yourself.
@@codetwohigh I will.
Winnington ???? I think he means WHITTINGTON as in Dick Whittington -
in greece they are way too much money in euro or else i will buy one :/
Too expensive.... There are many interesting ones for quarter of the price.... Low your price
nothing like the old clocks. I see plastic in the mechanism. I bet its not going to last for a few years

How was that rude? He told you what the dust cover was for.

No everything plastic is cheap. This clock will undoubtedly last decades.
