Well, for my final first Tuesday for the foreseeable future, I knew I just had to make it a special one. Back in May, me and Chris tried to try and get this thing going off for the monthly test, but as fate would have it almost every town in the Chicago metropolitan area cancelled because of forecasted severe weather later on in the day and it didn't end up going off. Having found this absolutely incredible spot that day, I just knew I had to come back when the weather was right. Despite now working full time and having no more first Tuesdays free, I somehow managed to get out of work for the test and I am so glad I did because everything ended up going almost perfectly. Although, for some reason they hadn't tested right at 10, so I called dispatch about 5 minutes after and they told me they had already went off and weren't going to test again. However, my guy was telling me to keep recording, and as I went to speak to the police officer that showed up to monitor the test, it ended up going off, a whole 8 minutes late! I'm glad to hear that they fixed the blower pipe gasket that was leaking when I recorded it back in 2018 on my last first Tuesday in high school. It still leaks a bit but it's much louder now, hopefully still proving it's worth to the town. Hopefully they'll end up keeping it around, only time will tell though as systems around here turn to battery back up. Anyways, thanks for watching and I hope you all enjoy the video!

I perfer the single tone 1000 with a 6M. Just like Evanston, IL used to have or the Oak Park 1000. I for some reason don't like the Dual-Tone 1000 (1000T)

Canon SX60 HS. I recommend getting a SX70 though, it's newer and has better quality & stabilization.

I use an entirely different camera for my audio but the audio the built in mics get on any camera is good.
