UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. ( .. But then again, how often have any of us ever heard Herbie playing anything OTHER THAN brilliantly. The man's a SUPERNOVA, even when, as here, he's playing pretty laid-back.
Im at a loss of words how creative herbies playing is in this video. He takes it out in a way thats alway surprising and refreshing (and soo playful), yet it all sounds really grounded and incredibly groovy, and he does it so fluent and easy looking. Saying he is the best ever is a bit harsh and always difficult to justify, but he definitely has a magic in his playing that very few people ever reach. To me someone like Brad is also an absolute beast, but Herbies playing is so childlike and free that I often find myself enjoying his music more than anything
Help me please, but does the number 14 mean that only 14 people have viewed this video or does it mean 14K ? If it means that only 14 people have viewed this video, are world is coming to an end. I am a guitar player but I do love Jazz Piano playing more then anything in this world. Herbie Hancock is playing so F---ing good and covering a galaxie of super improve. times a 1000!!! I would give anything to play 1/8 as good as Herbie Hancock!!! Henry Corvinus.
