    Congratulations, it's a spectacular job.
    I already tried to tattoo on artificial skin, but when it gets clean everything gets dirty.
    Can you tell me what brand and model of the artificial skin you wear?
    Thank you.

    Beautiful job.. I'm practicing to tattoo on fake skins but after wiped the ink, the lines were like almost removed. What would be the problem?

  • @duckattak
    @duckattak 7 років тому +3

    What skin do you use every one I've tried (tried over 20 brands and needle depths/ machine speeds etc) require you to go over the same lines and spots over and over in order to stay in the skin.

      Yupp, thats synthetic skin. I can barely pierce the surface with magnums, and 7rl barely does the job even with the voltage cranked up to shit.

    This is a beautiful portrait but you should really practice holding at a proper angle. Even on practice skin. At the angle you hold your machine you will blow out all your lines and tear real skin up.

    what do you use to wipe? and do you use something on the fake skin ? cause when i wipe it smudges and i can't get all the smudge out without rubbing really hard and ruining the tattoo...

      Ciprian Nicu Tudor Try going about it like you're tattooing an actual person, we don't see it in this video, but I'm almost sure the person is coating the fake skin with petroleum (Vaseline) as you would do when you tattoo on an actual person, when you wipe away reapply so that the ink does not stain the skin.
      I too kept having this frustration as I was expecting the fake skin to just easily keep ink from being absorbed ... But the whole point of fake skin is to use it as you would should it be a *real* person and of course you'd use some sort of lubrication for easy control while tattooing (and it helps keep blood from seeping out of your client in areas already tattoo'd).
      Hope this helps! Good luck!

      Red Vexx I seriously mentioned *what* this artist is most likely using ...
      I'm not kidding when I say they most likely used petroleum jelly, but if that isn't satisfactory, I have found that Pampers & Huggins wet baby wipes work very well for rubbing the ink off too. *ONLY ON RUBBER SKIN THOUGH!* On a client don't use them, and definitely don't use them for wiping your needle in your machine (if your needle is bent even SLIGHTLY it'll pull the fibers out and stick to the needle which you don't want)
      Though as a tattoo artist, petroleum jelly is your friend ;)
