I have a mash 250 cc scrambler for over 2 years now , been ridding it nonstop almost everywhere , on a long journey and heck even off road and all I can say is that it is by far the best purchase on a bike I have ever made, the bike has performed wonderfully and I have never had a problem not even once.
I own a Mash 400cc and just love it. Great for just plonking aroubd everywhere. .I never ride my BMW R1200RS to town anymore. Just love the 400. Loads of torque and easy laid back riding.
People on here are making assumptions about its reliability. I live in Portugal, and a young fella often parks his Mash 125 outside my apartment building. In two years, he has had not one issue. A poster on a FB page I read has had a 125 for 50,000 km and has had not one issue. There is no reason to think this would be any different.
Hmmm..the vid says the Mash website has 21 bullet points but only 2 of which talk about details of the bike. This vid is 7 mins long but it takes over 4 mins before we actually get to the review. I think there's some irony there.
My mate offered me his xbr mates rates for five hundred quid in 2006. I said "nah. Bit too old fashioned. Bung it on ebay." He did and it still only went for £530. Now THAT was a wise investment for someone!!
Really puzzles me why the big brands aren’t interested in producing retro styled lower cc bikes. The likes of RE and Mash are going to clean up, but they don’t have the reliability. Not all of us want to buy a higher end 800-1200cc vintage styled bike. Confused 🤷♂️.
Like the look of the scrambler , but when I check out the Mash web site they only do a chrome one for about £4600 , are they not importing ? You can get a royal endfeild himilayan cheaper .
What is the reason why black rims and handlebars have become a styling trend? Is that finish as serviceable as the chromed steel was? I admit, I'm behind the times... .
i actually prefer the blacked out look, but if you prefer chrome then check out 2018 SWM silver vase, run out models with a nice round classic tank are a bargain at the moment, plenty of chrome, 440cc engine, crash pan, scrambler style exhaust, designed and assembled in italy but with imported parts from china
3,18 It's a registration plate, not licence plate. Completely different system as in the USA the number plate refers to the owner, not the vehicle. Common error.
Warning. The bike is only seen, and from a distance, at three and a half minutes into the video. The first three minutes are annoying camera shots of part of the fuel tank and some cows.
so the reason its a dirt bike is because its dirt cheap, anyway I like it, all these computers in modern bikes are very reliable but I miss the time when you could do everything yourself, that said I like EFI
Several Chinese motorcycle companies cooperate in joint ventures with foreign motorcycle manufacturers including Loncin(BMW), Zongshen (Piaggio), Qingqi (Suzuki and Peugeot), Jianshe (Yamaha), Lifan (MV Agusta),[9] Qianjiang (owners of Benelli), Jialing (Honda). So... F.U.!
You can't look at a Chinese bike and say it's not cheap and nasty until you look in the engine, I bet the quality is horrible, I bet it's not "detuned" so much as the fitment quality is so bad that it's got low compression and poor sealing in other areas too. Get a CB500X instead, unless all you're interested in is being a poser on a "scrambler".
I cant get the CB500X cos its not available where I live. All I have its this 400cc adventure ;) But seriously, if it werent for the quality this mash adv is near to perfect
jarwicz Why are you lying? www.honda-dreamwing.com.cn/ They sell not only the CB500x but also the 750 and africa twin. And the only thing "proven" about it is that its old and outdated. When Great wall started trying to sell their crap here in Australia they couldn't even get a single safety star the first time around and had to redesign their vehicle.
You are very judgmental, yet I have to admit I was wrong. CB500X was not available in China untill this year presumably. I have a friend who wanted one 2 years ago and the only ones available were F and R. Ive been away for 6 months riding my bike and hear a good news now. Happy. They still have massive tax on them tho. RMB72000 is about $11000 so they are not easily accessible. Two weeks ago I went to my local dealer and asked about CRF250L cos I saw it online for RMB40000, he said it cannot be plated legaly here. Go figure

will it cruise at 70 mph on motoway?
Yes easily but dont expect quick overtaking at 70mph.

Markus Waissnix if you know how to weld & are responsibly mechanically minded , then go ahead for a Chinese bike. But Good luck getting parts....

@ DORIAN have you watched ATUNED channel ? he has done a nice job on his cafe 400 .
Why would you cover the engine sound with music :/ Please take it to consideration for the next review
I loved my xbr500. Sad it's gone.

How does it compare to the RE Himalayan?
Like the look of the scrambler , but when I check out the Mash web site they only do a chrome one for about £4600 , are they not importing ? You can get a royal endfeild himilayan cheaper .
Royal Endfield?

Oh dear the music even while you are speaking looking the part and being the park are totally different.

shineray? i just call it shin-ray, sounds more authentic haha
Just like the csc brand adventure bike. It's about looks and not performance
Im just here for the racist comments by people who never rode the bike and never will
20 minutes of research found these motorcycles arrive in England from China partially assembled for just over 1000 pounds Stirling each.
David Parry What do you mean ? you can actually buy it for 1000 and assemble it yourself ??
Tell us more, I could live without a warranty for that money
At no point did we get to hear the bike.... when you show the bike going down the road i want to hear it not funky music!
Just buy a slr650, better in every way
It's a good farm bike for paddocks... at best. If that's all you need 😳
You've never ridden one then I take it.
I want a review not a fukin music video.FFS!
$1200 in the Philippines. Someone making a profit.
apx $2500usd in phil .
China bike is a shit bike.good look but the performance is not good as you think.400cc but the tops speed is only 140 kph ...why?
You think knobbly tyres are designed to go that fast?
Runeld Heroza
It's not made to race...
The Suzuki S40 has a 652cc engine and it doesn't go 140.

F.U.!
So its a honda with crap welding crap wiring and thin chrome.

The poor quality and old out-dated tech is the only reason its cheap.
And where is the mythical place that Hondas aren't for sale?
China, my man!
And some call outdated tech "proven"
