I'm in South Africa . Letsdig18 is still my number one channel and I usually watch it very early in the morning when I won't be disturbed. I also like Dirt Perfect Bealy Good Farm and Diesel Creek. I'm also fond of Idigit4 and Upstate Brush Control and Outdoors with the Morgans . Great stuff Chris.
If I had 1/4 of Chris's knowledge to run any of that heavy machinery I would be dangerous! I admire his expert ability to just step into any of those big machines and trucks and run them.
For some reason the tailgate spreading dump shot at 7:10 was very satisfying. Who knew what went on in the back of a dump truck could be that interesting 🤗
A few yrs ago when I bought this place the drive way was a mud pit An it was about 3 feet deep ruts I toke a load of concrete blocks Broke them up fill to top of the ruts I waited about week then put clay An load of gravel over it needless To say drive way is still in great Shape Had lots trucks driving over it No mud no ruts Does fine job
Pretty righteous job of gate spreading if you were to ask me, and considering you don’t even spend much time in a dumper to begin with, I would lay claim to it if I were in your shoes young man, and in reverse to boot. I like it,thanks for the update sir, enjoyed watching.
I don't know why but I really enjoy watching Chris working the blade on his motorgrader to groom a road or driveway. I'm glad I saved this one for last tonight before I go get some shuteye with my Bebita Wife Maria.
It’s mesmerizing to watch the GoPro under the grader level out the crushed concrete😂. Could watch that for a long time, almost like watching the waves on a shore.
When farmer I worked for many years ago had field plowed went back and forth collecting the rocks to use as hard standing in a wet entrance to a different field where you would get stuck but with the stone put in it solved the problem
Chris, you did a beautiful job tailgating for not doing it for so long. I was waiting to see how you did, I remember when you first started to tailgate. Some of the loads weren't that pretty, but this time, it was perfect. Have a great evening, and thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed it again, thanks. Be safe and careful. God bless you.
Yessiree, always love me some grader footage. Saw the grader in the background in previous videos of this job, and was pretty “pumped” about getting to see it in action.., then I was so depressed when the last video didn’t have any footage…, but now i can forgive you “Chris”, you didn’t disappoint today…, hahaha..! Thank you sir. Oh, and nice work tailgating today as well.
Oh Yeah, You spread it, right on out there. Got it good enough to where you can work it on in, looking good !! Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
Chris, when we watch you work, it's OK to say "I would rather be good than lucky, but I will take lucky whenever I can!". Your skills and knowledge put you in a different category. You are definitely more good than lucky.😎
Chris a good wheel loader operator gets a full bucket with no tire spinning and you did a great job now you can add a wheel loader to your fleet just kidding it wouldn't do for the work you do it would be a good yard ornament.
Chris, a job well done. It amazes me how much one man can get done in a day. You're getting and we're getting snow here in West Virginia. God Bless and Stay Safe.
Alike the Weather, You make always a Perfekt Work! This Road building first Class Planing and with great accurate Execution for long Time make. The Video the best Argument. 👌👍
I know the grader is noisy, but it would be really cool to be able to hear what your thought process is as your spinning around the blade and setting those angles like we get sometimes when your digging
Great job Chris. I thought you had a 4 way bucket for the skid steer? think it would of come in handy on that road, but of coarse you did an outstanding job with whatever type of equipment you use.
Tailgating with a road grader standing by is like stick welding with a good grinder right next to you, haha. Nice work, sir, always fun to try to beat the rain.
Looking good but our huge pile is not going to make it to the building I don’t think unless scale back to 2-3” .. Be that looked like more than enough but sure is amazing how fast it goes 😊
You better be careful, someone is going to offer you a good buck to drive dump truck lol. You do such nice work, it’s fun to watch. Cheers Canada, in the Rockies
You must be practicing on the side. Do dud a great job of spreading the crushed concrete, despite the delay. Some things just come naturally to people who work around machines every. And you have the touch.
Chris, Have you considered using this product on your farm, just as a base coat, you understand. Or do the distance logistics rule it out....Just something to consider. Regards Robin....
Not too shabby a farm loader there! Does the customer do some field and drainage work on his own fields? That loader and excavator are some pretty decent equipment for private use.
Well I know this...... Large contractors expect constant spread.... Be it sand gravel or stone. It's a bitch to do it right in reverse or forward. T800 Kenny quad triple frame . Get it right and tight !!!!
Chris, love watching your videos also watch Mike"s (Dirt Perfect) videos. Just one question/observation, how come we always see you going up to IN. and helping him with projects but I haven't seen him come down to your place and help you out on a project?
From a trailer home and working for your uncle. To a multi equipment successful farm owner. Just showed what hard work and dedication accomplished. Now, on to the issue of back dragging that moe board on the grader, Jpaydirt would be proud...lol jk
Thery gotta add water when they're crushing because there's moisture all the way through that pile. I've never seen that before. Usually its so dusty you cant even see out the back when you dump a load.
Beautiful job, Chris. Watching you be a one man crew is fascinating. It may be exhausting for you but you do such wonderful work. Thanks for sharing.
There's a art to spreading gravel with the dump truck. We had a local rock plant guy was awesome. He said years of practice and try not to mess up.

Did we even doubt you couldn’t do that!! Been along time since you climbed in that truck to do that job!! Enjoyed!!
Great job sir and kind of hard back-spreading along that little curve also. Thanks again for taking us along.
Recycling concrete is a good thing! Dump truck spreading skills = A. Always right equipment for the job! 👍👏✨❤

That grader is positively therapeutic..... Thank you sir.
I like the grader !

Another perfectly executed road build by a perfectionist. You go Chris! @ Letsdig18 does it again.
Hey, dump truck still upright on all it's wheels, not stuck and can be driven out, good tailgating job, it's a good day and we can all go home!
always liked that truck, uncle has good taste.

Awesome job and nothing better than a letsdig18 video on a Saturday evening!

Chris is so good there is zero lag time in operating different equipment from day to day that muscle memory you can’t beat
Amazing skills with the truck and dumping out the crushed stone.
The stabilization fabric is expensive but it sure saves money in the long run. Good work!
Artistry at work Chris.
Great road building great video thanks Chris

Love the video much better dane a movie , Chris have a good week end .
You still have the touch on tailgate spread - but you did your driveway @ the farm 3 years ago.
You did well and you didn’t have to call John and tell him that you broke the side mirror, because the truck was laying on it. 😂😂
Nice set up! Nice road!
You truck spread that crushed concrete forward and backward like you do it every day - nice!!!!!

I can see kinda see the rationale behind the angle of the blade. Executing it is another story!😆😆😆
Great job Chris. I thought you had a 4 way bucket for the skid steer? think it would of come in handy on that road, but of coarse you did an outstanding job with whatever type of equipment you use.
If that's the bucket from the low-flo (old) skid steer it is a 4-way bucket.
A nice job with the dirt looking good
Tailgating with a road grader standing by is like stick welding with a good grinder right next to you, haha. Nice work, sir, always fun to try to beat the rain.
The backwards spread was fun to watch, nice work.
Interesting technique , chaining the tailgate and using the tip to spread. Never seen that used in the U K.
The chain can be set by links to various widths of an opening so you can control how much can get out at once.
Thanks Chris!
Counting the time for the round trips to collect and dump and level road-fill that was fair progress for the day
Great job very impressive Chris
Great video, just enjoying you working in your natural habitat.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Nice one bro that stuff sure spreads well, great video too. Safe travels. Ken.

That motor grader is. So cool. I want one.
I love watching Effie earning her keep.
Job well done 👍🏻 in the previous video you mentioned crushed concrete and I was thinking about actual concrete 😂
It is crushed concrete they mixed sand with it and should pack hard as hell
Well, it is actual concrete but they've run it through a crusher to break it down into useable material.
Yes 👍 love to see the grader in action
you can operate any machine chris your experience cannot be doughted..john.England.u.k.
Great job Chris just love your videos thanks so much
Great job as always 👍
I was waiting for that last video 😅 thought you chickened out on us 😮
This 'Boy' sure knows what he's doin'.
Chris, you did a fantastic job as always !! The client should be very happy, What are the silos for at the concrete yard ?? Greetings from Australia
That was apparently either a hog or chicken farm and the little silos are for feeders. We have a bunch of both here in Southeast Ne.

I assume that Crushed Concrete is kind of like Crush & Dust... in that when it rains on it, it gets hard as concrete again.???
Should pack really good with all the fines and dust to lock together
"A little soft" he said. DANG!
Chris, Have you heard that Matt got a steal on a D9.
I believe that he said about $11,000 for 1970ish D9. I could only dream. But the cost to move it each time….
Chris, Have you considered using this product on your farm, just as a base coat, you understand. Or do the distance logistics rule it out....Just something to consider. Regards Robin....
Part of the reason to use it is that it is already owned by the landowner for whom Chris is working . .
That looks like John's truck, haven't seen or head anything of him in an age. Has he retired?
On a cruise
No to retirement

If you can afford to buy the equipment you need from time to time it sure beats having to rent them and wait to get them delivered.
Tailgating!!
I'm sure you know this but, if you give the bucket a little shake before you leave the pile much less will be spilled when transporting !

Chris, if that crust concrete gets wet, does it harden any?
