- It is always a great concern among all the engineering students which major I shall pursue-Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering? In this video, I described it both from the academic and industry perspective and from my real-life experience :)
Hello, I have done my Bachelor in Aeronautical Engineering from India and I would like to pursue Masters in Aerospace Engg. in the US. However, I researched the job prospects for International Students in this domain and I found that there is security clearance in most aerospace jobs that will require citizenship. So, If I do a Master in Mechanical Engineering instead of Aerospace would be a good option in terms of employment in aerospace firms or should I change country?
Go for mechanical! It’s way more safe option! I did same. For MS or PhD without any doubt go for Mechanical Engineering. Your BS in Aerospace will definitely help you if you want to work in aerospace! But a mechanical degree will make your profile more versatile!
@@saifatique Sir, I also found MS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Is this a good option or should I only do Mechanical engineering?
@@bhavyashah.917 that’s a smart move as well! I know Oklahoma State University and Missouri have it. Also follow my advice in the video when you choose mechanical then how to take other aerospace department course!
@@saifatique Sir, Does it depend on the ranking of universities in the USA to pursue MS in Mechanical Engineering for good job prospects for international students? Or, can we also get a good job after studying in an average university?
@@bhavyashah.917 I think, it’s all in your personal skill level. However, the higher rank you can go, the better it is of course!
Great bhaiya!
You are inspiring me a lot❤
I hope you got your answer why did I choose mechanical!
If I want to work in military industry ( like Air defence system ) then which is better for me mechanical engineering or Arospace engineering ????????????
I would say mechanical
I am not only interested about aeroplanes but also aeroplanes are my love .they are the love of my life.whatever it takes I will be an aerospace engineer inshallah.thanq you so much bhaiia for the video❤
You most welcome and good luck!!
It should be same about 75 to 80% cases except few very special fields where aerospace BSc is highly demanded like Airplane Design jobs
Hello sir , I am from Nepal and I have a great interest In aerospace engineering but as of my family condition , I would have to earn at least a little after completing bacholers, so I am in a great dilemma in choosing me or ae but if mechanical engineer and aerospace engineer earns about same after bacholers then I will definitely choose AE and go for ME in masters but if you say that ME earns higher after bs than AE (considering all security clearance, citizenship and job availability) then I will choose ME or should I do Electrical engineering in bs? Your suggestions will be highly valued to me.
To support family and considering your condition ME is safer and better!
@@saifatique sir , if ME is better as well as than AE and ME can work in aerospace industry then why do people go for AE ?
@@SIDDHANTPOKHREL-q9s It’s for the people who wants to do the coolest job in aerospace industry! Not all jobs of engineers are same! If you want to do the coolest things like: Airplane Design, Airplane Performance and stability control for those specific position you need aerospace degree!
Thanks many a lot.
Thank you 🙏 I will Insallah
Sir, I'm from India graduated in aeronautical engineering ,I want to ask you that which softwares should I learn,or study books for getting best jobs. Please 🙏🏻 Answer sir

@@saifatique Thanks sir 🙏🏻 for replying, please tell each and every thing with that I can be a good engineer.
I'm from tier3,4 college don't have outer world any knowledge but good in studies.
I want to know what other skills like research papers , Doing projects on own ,etc other things that I must do.
I am taking gap for Mtech I want to learn everything that makes a good engineer.

I am a international student from nepal wanting to study bachelor in aerospace engineering in usa... I am middle class family and i need scholarship for these programs ..so which program ME or AE should i choose to get more scholarship ....and also what type of engineers are given more priority in aircraft field ME or AE in usa
Choose ME
How would it be if I do bachelor in ME and masters in AE?
@@oneeyegamer1830 good! But better to do both in ME for best job security
@@saifatique can masters in ME student work as aircraft designer?
Does height, weight or any other physical aspect matter in Aeronautical engineering??
No, for getting chance or to study it! You are good to go!
Vaiya if anyone use glass for there eye problems,is this obstacle for AE or any job sector after graduation???
No problem at all in entire world! I had glass as well and now I am taking pilot training as well besides my engineering job!!
If i do bsc in ME then i do msc in AE
Is it possible or risky? Please make a vedio...I am from Bangladesh. I completed my hsc in 2022. I have much interested about ME for Aerospace engineering
I prefer ME for job security! If you want to come abroad then you can do BSc in ME/AE and then MSc in ME
@@saifatique thanks sir💙
So far I know AIB is a diploma program! So in that case you need to do a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from BD first and then you can apply for MSc in abroad! With diploma only you can not directly apply to MSc!!

@@user-yy6ix3nx5j NO! You can not
Have u heard amrita in tamilnadu for bachelor in aerospace
No I didn’t but in general that side of India 🇮🇳 is very good for aerospace
Hii dada I am from India (west bengal ) , I will be completing my +2 in 2023 ....so I have made my mind for aerospace .....but one thing I want to ask you that after a master's of 2 years in usa can I be eligible for green card to work as an aerospace engineer in us government farms like NASA.....???
Getting green card for certain national like India and China is very difficult because of heavy backlog! So it will be very tough! I recommend you to go for Mechanical Engineering Masters! I did the same. It will increase your chance to work not only in aerospace but also many others areas! Moreover India is doing great in aerospace and you have many opportunities in India as well. I wish you all the best!
Ok dada thank you
Dada did you get a green card ...till now ??
@@riddhibratomullick2483 : Yes brother I got!!

Kindly suggest a good University for MS mechanical . I have a GPA of 2.9 .And what extra certificate should i pursue during MS to stand alone in crowd ?
If you try for USA then take GRE and IELTS and search for some low rank university!!
