A cat willingly in bath water? Your cat is sent from the heavens. Edit: Thank you for all the likes and comments, I appreciate it. Hope yall have a blessed day/life!
We have a cat that looks pretty similar, without the stripes, bit darker orange fur, oh, and he's fat. For some reason, he prefers water over food and is fine with getting baths. So either we are lucky, or it depends on the species and personality.
My aunt’s cat LOVES water. Like she’ll hop in the shower with my aunt, beg her to splash her with water when my aunt is doing anything involving water, etc. She’s a weird cat.
My cat loved bathes. When she had leukemia as a kitty, she had many bugs, etc. we would bathe her to get them off, it kinda worked. Now, 6 years later, lekuima passed up with her and she died.
If any of you don’t know, Bailey passed away about two years ago from natural causes. I couldn’t got over his death for long time. I also messaged Bailey’s mom over instagram to say how sorry I am. They adopted new cat later that and they love the new cat as much as Bailey (also orange!) and they take care of her like their own child. The kids after Bailey’s death stuggled a lot and I saw their mom handling the situation so nicely. They were all so sad and I believe they’re still mourning. I love Bailey’s mom so much and their family. Just wanted to announce lovely Bailey’s death here. Rest in piece orange baby❤️ I’m sending so much love to Bailey’s family and Dodo community❤️❤️

I LOVE the fact that Bailey is essentially an old man for a cat and he's still living his best life with these grandbaby's.. in the bath, getting dressed up.. I love Bailey ❤❤
I loved how the little girl, when she hit the pedal on the toy car and it jerked forward, turned immediately to make sure he hadn't fallen off. Precious !
Why do these always show up in my recommended early in the morning when I'm most emotionally vulnerable only to find out that the animal has since passed. It's like UA-cam enjoys seeing my crying at work.

Bailey passed away and it devastated his many fans (myself included) and after a period of time of mourning the family got a rescue ginger kitten and the girls named her carrot. I think she's a male version of Bailey because she's as funny and sweet and has her own blog. Bailey inspired me to rescue a kitty who's stolen my heart too.
Our cat devoted himself ENTIRELY to our little daughter. She carried him around as if he were her raggedy ann doll, and he loved every bit of it, and played with her, throughout his whole 15 year life until he passed away. She's 36 now and still talks about him. They had a BIG love for each other.
Sadly Bailey passed away earlier this year, but they now have a new orange kitten that they named Carrot, and as if he's Bailey reincarnated, he jumped in the bathtub by himself, and is starting to play with the girls in the same way. It's so heartwarming to see that Bailey found a way back to them ❣❣
dana doz Awe, thanks. I know the fact that cats don’t really have nine lives but... can’t help but believe that they do have nine lives, amiright? In fact, talking about nine lives of cats makes me thinks of the comic that a cat went through all his eight lives. By his eighth life, he was adopted by a woman who gives him so much love. The cat was thankful for that so he decided that he want to spend his last life just to be with her again.
It may be sad that Bailey passed away, but there's no denying he had a damn good life with some wonderful people that loves the affectionate feline. Here's lookin' at you, cat.
Anyone else wish Bailey could live forever so he could watch his sisters grow and have kids of their own, and then their kids' kids, and they would love him and play with him and take care of him and he of them for several more generations to come?
@Alison Hemmingsen So true! When I was a kid and had pets, I had the hardest time when they died. I would cry for weeks to the point of getting physically sick. My parents decided to not let me have pets anymore since I just couldn't cope with their deaths.
Seeing a cat chilling while having a bath is the most bizarre thing I've even seen. That's the kind of cat I'd love to have. Sad now seeing in comments he passed away.
When I adopted my kids, my sister, who has three kids, told me that they always had a male orange table cat in the family because they tend to have mellow, sweet personalities and be good with kids. I got an orange tabby cat for my kids, and he is an absolute love - with me, with the kids (he goes to bed with them every night), with the cat we had when we got him, and with the other cat that we have now. Georgie can be a little bit stubborn, but is our beloved love bug kitty! Every home should have an orange tabby cat!
It all fun and games until the cat steals the babies breath. They are known to steal breath from babies. Their feces can also kill babies if the babies ingest them. This is like leaving a shotgun in the crib.
Gave Ed Dillmore I did some research and its like the black cats cause bad luck myth, sure I guess it could happen but it’s very unlikely. Baby deaths caused by cats in the US are very scarce. But I do agree with your statement about consumption of feces, it can be very toxic.
I have always been fascinated by the fact that animal owners and their animal were so much alike. People certainly have the animal they deserve : if you give attention, affection and care and to your animal, you'll get it ten times in return. This cat had to be in this family !
When he had his paw over the first baby's face, then moved it, then the baby put it back on herself shows that she was truly comfortable with him. It's great to see these interactions.
Fortunately, the little kitten whose life I saved when I was in my first year of college allowed me to keep her in the dorm. Yay!!! Everyone loved her, helped me get her back to good health.
Yeah, they were lucky. My cat is incredibly cuddly and almost literally grows velcro and attaches herself to me when I'm home, but she would maul my arm if I tried to dress her up or put her in the tub like that.
What a wonderful story. He truly is the most devoted loving kitty I've ever seen. Bathtime! Wow! The way he was snuggling on her shoulder, he adores her and his family. I almost feel like he's going to magically turn into a prince or something 😁. I'm so glad you managed to keep him.
Not only is Bailey gentle with the girls but they are exceptionally gentle with him for their age! Usually kids that age are swatting at animals and pulling their tails etc..... Great family!
I guess this is what happens when you teach the kids respect and love for animals since a very young age and because the grew up with him .Adorable ,❤️
Wyatt Evert Nope, you’re right about it being simple but your conclusion is wrong. My two indoor cats are the most loving cats I’ve ever known. I’ve had cats my whole life, the outdoor ones were just as loving but very selective as to when they would show this to you. And they had no hesitation swiping/scratching if they’d had enough. My two indoor cats have never swiped at me. The simplicity is this...cats have personalities like humans do. Some are loving and affectionate, some are not. Some like other cats/animals, some do not.
Is that a cat or an angel?! I’ve never seen a cat so emotionally attached to a family before (& I’ve had cats my whole life) none have ever been as snuggly as Bailey is. So cute xxx
It's hard to tell sometimes. I suffer from depression and every time I even began to feel it get bad and needed to walk to cool my nerves my cat would be outside my door and my dogs at the foot the stairs. Animals really can be some of the best therapists.
I worked as a vet nurse and we had a black cat called Boots often visit and he was just like this cat, so snuggly and loving from day 1 he met us. i miss him.
Ever seen the vid where the cat saved the boy from a neighbors dog? I have a feeling despite his old age this cat would do the same, it's all about how you raise the animal
There used to be a cat in a family I'm renting a room with. It's funny how he's not that very fond on the family but when I moved there, he keeps on following me. Every time I feel depress or sad, I can hear him outside my room meowing and trying to get in so he could comfort me. It was so sad when the family have to sell the house and I need to move out. And I miss him sooo much!
Bailey fell in love with momma. Everything that came with that love, it was clearly worth the cost. This is what you call a soul mate. For animals, given their life span, it's forever. You are seriously blessed that he chose you. You loved him, he loved you, but he chose you forever, and everything that entailed. Thank you for sharing this with us.
@@sopronunciareglignocchi7255Yeah, but humans have a tendency to project their own emotions and stories onto animals, don't get how you missed that, were you trying to look smart?
I've seen a cat who is so scared of the Vacuum Cleaner "Monster" that she would hide for over 15 minutes after it was shut off! Then her humans had a baby, she would be shivering, but always stood with ears back next to the baby girl and ready for a fight , ready to protect her from "The Dreaded Monster"!! Very Sweet to watch. (Parents had to stop vacuuming about halfway, and moved their daughter to continue giving the house a. good clean!
The clip and the anecdote are separate. She was referring to when Bailey first saw the baby- and the clip is a random one with Bailey and the baby. A little thinking goes a long way
Right...cat kept starting at me while i was in the loo and was silently judging me as i danced in front of the mirror. Definitely a human.controlling that...
Aw yes that moment was wonderful! I was nervous for a second because my cat does that sometimes her nails come out (not aggressively), but that Bailey seems to be made of pure softness.
Actually that part was the reason (in my theory) that the owner doesn't allow comments on her videos any more, two idiots got into it back and forth about whether or not it was safe, violence started being threatened, etc., all in the youtube comments section of a video about a sweet cat.
This little fellow Bailey is this woman's "husband kitty." He is a true gentleman kitty who wants nothing more than to give and receive love. So many kitties are such amazing parents to babies and children (as long as the children don't harm them) and loving, caring platonic "spouses," the way so many women wish their husbands were!🐈💕
I have never seen it that way but what in the hell this makes so much sense!!! Until humans grow up and learn to love and respect everything and everyone equally we all have our little animal buddies to help us through this hard life with troubling times!!!
rip Bailey, was the cutest and loving cat ever. I hope hes just as happy now as he was with his sisters. It'd be hard explaining to a 4 year old why he wouldn't come home, but, they got another cat months after to help them cope. Her name is Carrot, and looks a bit like Bailey.💖
@james percy no one said they don't have to, and the kids took the death pretty hard but got over it eventually. Maybe older children, like you, need to learn social skills, and what should and shouldn't be said. Especially about the death of a cat that lived through 2 generations, and helped raise those kids. Have some compassion. Those kids adored Bailey. He was a AMAZING cat, and the owner learned death. She sat right next to him as he passed.
@@Idyll_Candy there's always ALWAYS going to need someone that has an unnecessary comment... I'm glad to hear they're giving that beautiful love to another animal😻❤️🤗
I had an Orange Tabby that was part bob cat. We lived out in the desert and my school bus driver said that her female cat was attacked by a bob cat and was in pretty serious condition. Well she recovered only to find out she was pregnant. The vet didnt think it was possible but this cat only had 3 kittens. The other 2 weren't bobs, but mine was. My Dad out voted my stepmother and I got my kitten: Mischief. He was the size of my Dads hands when we brought him home and to put it mildly, he got into EVERYTHING!! I would be doing the dishes and he would climb my Levi's onto my shirt and sit on my shoulder. When the moment was right, he would splash down into the water and water would get everywhere!! He would terrorize my Dads Great Dane endlessly, my cat moved so fast the dog could never catch him. When it was time for me to sleep, he would crawl in my bed and snuggle up in front of my knees. Sometime during the night he would sneak out my bedroom window and go hunting....I would wake up with a variety of gifts. Sometimes on the floor, sometimes on the bed. Sometimes on my stepmothers bed! Those were the best!! He loved to go for walks in the desert with me. He was the best cat. RIP MISCHIEF.
It's actually done differently for cats than dogs. For dogs it's about 7 years for every human year. For cats it's 16 years for the first year, then 4 years for each year after the first. So a 14 year old cat would be like a 68 year old human.
can confirm, my cat was with me during all of my highschool years and passed away of old age last year (he was about 15-16). He was a friendly orange giant that liked to cuddle
Yes I saw this video years ago but didn't favor it. Then I wanted to watch it again a year later but couldn't remember the title. And then one day it was recommended to me again, like a year later lol. Its so sad Bailey died but he lived a full and fulfilling life!
@@TIG5574 Oh no, he died? When did it happen and how old was he? I’m just wondering. He was an amazing amazing cat. I’m rewatching this video, and I’m still in such awe.
It is incredible when he is in the bath tub with the girls and they are putting suds on his head and he is just going with the flow, it's all good. He really must love the heck out of them. He's a sweet cat alright.
I lost my ginger cat to cancer about 2 weeks ago, I still cry when I think about how special and affectionate he was. I will never forget how he would let me cry into his fur when I was upset, how he would lick the tears off my nose. He was the sweetest cat I've ever known, we had him from birth and I grew up with him over the last 14 years. I can't believe that I'll never hear his meow or his loud purring or be able to bury my face in his fur again. He purred until the very end and I will always love him so so much. RIP Gingey 2004 - 2018.
Thanks for all the kind words ❤ I cheer myself up by thinking about how happy he must be in cat heaven, finally allowed to eat all the pastries and cakes he wants 😂 He had quite the sweet tooth for a cat, basically tried to stick his face in a lemon meringue pie once lool, but we never allowed him more than a crumb now and then so now I guess he can indulge freely haha. We were very lucky to have him and can't ask for anything more than that ❤
Time does heal wounds. Even to the heart. But never completely. I understand. You're description was so moving. Both of you were lucky to have each other. Even though it was a short while. Because the yrs r never long enough.
I did the same in my dorm and since he helped me with mental illness. I had my psychiatrist write me a letter to give them so that I can keep him 😂😂😂 now he's back home with me and I can't imagine life without him
Anonymous Anonymous Having a lot of rescue connections, I can say that a very, high portion of animals surrendered to kill shelters are from people that weren’t allowed to have them in the first place. You guys are laughing like you’re winning a sneaky war or something, but ultimately the animals pay in the end and this is very irresponsible. This is not a game, this is their lives that you’re messing with.
@@maggiemoran7747 We don't have shelters in my country. The cat was orphaned, injured and quite ill and even if I managed to get him on his feet while not getting him inside my room, he would have been taken to the pound, once the dorm manager is sick of all the cats that live in the dorm, where all Animas are killed no matter what. So I say I win because he saved my own life but I also saved his. I knew what I was getting into when I took him in and I would have left the dorm and went back home with him (it would be an hour and a half of commute but it would be so worth it) if the dorm manager didn't accept my doctor's letter. We're laughing about it now because we took a a gamble to save an animal and won and that's a great cause for celebration. If someone decides to break the rules without taking precautions in case it fails then they only have themselves to blame, not a few lines comment on a yt video.

Sadly Bailey passed away earlier this year, but they now have a new orange kitten that they named Carrot, and as if he's Bailey reincarnated, he jumped in the bathtub by himself, and is starting to play with the girls in the same way. It's so heartwarming to see that Bailey found a way back to them ❣❣
Well... Cats does have nine lives. I guess when Bailey passed away, he decided to spend his next life just to be with his family.
Sarah Bell that made me emotional
dana doz Awe, thanks.
💕💕
that was called Garfield: His 9 Lives, it was a comic indeed and a short movie that came out in 1988
One of the little girls actually sang "you are my sunshine" to Bailey while he passed away after she was done.

There's a follow up video of his reincarnation in the form of a female cat named "Carrot".
I have always been fascinated by the fact that animal owners and their animal were so much alike. People certainly have the animal they deserve : if you give attention, affection and care and to your animal, you'll get it ten times in return. This cat had to be in this family !
Your cat becomes your personality(s) that is true, after all you are the one they learn from

Bailey was just a gorgeous kitty both inside and out. They say cats can’t be as affectionate or loving as dogs - they’re wrong.
It's pretty simple really: let them go outside. Indoor cats tend to be assholes.
@@wyattevert6835 i have 3 indoor cats all loving ridiculously loving
Wyatt Evert Nope, you’re right about it being simple but your conclusion is wrong. My two indoor cats are the most loving cats I’ve ever known. I’ve had cats my whole life, the outdoor ones were just as loving but very selective as to when they would show this to you. And they had no hesitation swiping/scratching if they’d had enough. My two indoor cats have never swiped at me.
The simplicity is this...cats have personalities like humans do. Some are loving and affectionate, some are not. Some like other cats/animals, some do not.

It's hard to tell sometimes. I suffer from depression and every time I even began to feel it get bad and needed to walk to cool my nerves my cat would be outside my door and my dogs at the foot the stairs. Animals really can be some of the best therapists.
I worked as a vet nurse and we had a black cat called Boots often visit and he was just like this cat, so snuggly and loving from day 1 he met us. i miss him.

There used to be a cat in a family I'm renting a room with. It's funny how he's not that very fond on the family but when I moved there, he keeps on following me. This little fellow Bailey is this woman's "husband kitty." He is a true gentleman kitty who wants nothing more than to give and receive love.

@james percy no one said they don't have to, and the kids took the death pretty hard but got over it eventually. RIP MISCHIEF.

wel cats can live a long life so 13 is not really old for them there are cats who reached 28 years, so maby he lives another 13 years

Little Orange Dee Nah, the 7 years rule is bullshit
It's actually done differently for cats than dogs. For dogs it's about 7 years for every human year. For cats it's 16 years for the first year, then 4 years for each year after the first. So a 14 year old cat would be like a 68 year old human.

This is not a game, this is their lives that you’re messing with.

So I say I win because he saved my own life but I also saved his.
