Thank you, man, you saved me! I was confused why my normal Star Rail launcher doesn't work, and whenever I've tried again, "network error" kept showing up and I couldn't update the new patch
hoyoplay laucher won't open, the old laucher i already delete it because i thought it was the problem but now it wasn't the case, hsr has new update but i can't open the laucher for some reason so i really need some advice how to fix this issue
Hi. I have the same problem. I mailed the customer support and the help center almost 12 days ago. They told me to provide them a video that shows the issue, my pc specs, uid and then they suggest to check the installation path ( according to them the HSR folder must be inside the HoyoPlay launcher). I also play to genshin impact with no problem btw and the game folder is outside the launcher so i told them about it. My speculation is that hoyoplay screwed up the HSR folder to the point that the launcher itself doesn't recognize it or the during the installation the launcher doesn't have all the essential files even though i click on repair to check possible missing files or updates. If i go to control panel i have all my games except for HSR ( dunno the reason ) and i also have two hoyoplay launcher installed so i told them about. Now i can't do a clean installation because inside the HSR folder there isn't the uninstall or by control panel. The only way to uninstall it is by the launcher itself. The help center and the customer support don't seem to have a proper explaination or know how to fix this issue so they told 6 days ago to patiantly wait for them to understand the problem. Yesterday i was tired to wait so i downloaded the game on mobile and it work fine.
I reccomand you to do so, it's better than wait.

Can we get a how NOT to use the new invasive spyware/adware scumlauncher and still be able to update/play without giving a hostile enemy nation even more access to my computer? ?

@@eggnerd Yeah, stuck downloading a new copy of the whole game every time it updates now to not use the new launcher
bro i cant open genshin impact app😭it said i need to download there new launcher,so when i download there launcher it said 'Get Game' but i already have genshin impact app whats the plan of this!😭

try closing the old launchers, they usually run in the background even when you x out of them
@@eggnerd already uninstalled everything and re installed the latest version for the hoyoplay launcher and still not working
@@TabijiNori i have the exact same problem, i literally deleted everything and reinstalled multiple times but when i click on the icon of the launcher ltrlly nothing happens ive been going crazy
