      @@nickaull5405 Karns Bastion is a good shout out, but doesn't allow you to move though the whole saga in one go. For an 8 Mana and 6 life investment, you get all 3 chapters in one go instead of just a 4 Mana and a land investment (so essentially 5 Mana) for one chapter

      @stormincorbyn Рік тому +9

      With the way I tend to build my decks, The road I take to get to the ending tends to be different, i.e. non-deterministic. I definitely understand that it's not everybody's cup of tea, but saying that it's cool the first couple times and then becomes tedious is like saying it's cool to attack someone the first couple times. But now this aggro deck is tedious. In both cases your kill condition is the same, but just like how with the aggro deck the creatures you swing with are different, the spells I chain together are different. Again, not forcing people to like storm, I just wanted to put a different way of possibly thinking out into the universe!

    Power level is a toughie. If you guys are just getting randos off the lgs then it’s kinda bound to happen, but on yt this is incredibly boring and doesn’t make for much viewer experience. The only “show” I’ve seen have a unique understanding of this is is Star City games’ Commander Vs. I’m glad that there was a game two, to sort of pad out the time and showcase the same deck, but why not just do some practice games? Or run the deck through those “infinite loop” deck sites, like “commander spellbook,” to see if they are incredibly niche or to give viewers a heads up on what combos are available. Sort of preview to build that anticipation.
    I personally love combos, but they aren’t “fun” when you are watching it or on the other side of the table. I’m still new to the channel, but you guys go through the phases at a nice pace and have interesting banter. I will look to see if there is a “primer” video that may give a thought/ deck building philosophy, that way I may set up the right expectations.
