would've liked 30 seconds on how they've designed how to keep it from getting damp/standing water on the roof. looks ace and minimal etc but there's a reason that almost every home is double pitched with eaves.
Jaw dropping! The Future! This is incredible. There is a need for more high quality housing. It's fine to talk if building more houses as is the new Labour Government plans. However it is " pointless" unless those built are of this level of quality, design, function and affordability. Excellent. Fully deserves all the awards and attention this development is surely to receive.
Looks great but how long is Hackney’s housing waiting list? Eleven new homes, with only a proportion available for social rent is the tiniest drop in a very big ocean.
It's that bad that you don't want to show inside the building? How can you judge the architecture if the only thing you show is some B rolls of facades? Seriously, you realy have to reconsider your vision of architecture, this is a very poor presentation of the construction. What does it look like? How is it build? With what materials, structure, sourcing, etc.
Great to see down to earth engaging place to live …..
I love this project. It just makes so much sense: community, space optimization, and an interesting design that responds to its surroundings.

The roof is likely tanked

Love this. We need to start honouring our craftsmen in our online content as well though.

Awesome. Would love to see the plan and everything that went into building. Hopefully I see that on the website.
I pray to god that none of the occupants ever choose to render their facades.
Do people get confused between the front door and the door to the store & knock on the store door?
ciao
This urbanism is definitely British.
👏👏👏
