- Hey guys! Today I am going to painting, decorating and customizing some wooden eggs for easter using my original character designs. This is a great way to create some DIY easter room decor that will last and you can re-use every season. ALSO, there is a little surprise toward the end of the video...so stay tuned for that 😂

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 27 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try LOL).

Parents have a lot on their minds and sometimes forget to do little things, especially when you grow up and don’t need us so much anymore. But look at all the comments from other parents that are also watching with their kids. Try to sit down and chat with your parents about wanting to bond over something, if not Moriah, anything you are both interested in. Your parents just might think you’ve outgrown bonding with them.

Its just for money purposes. But she has had ads before. Once u have a certain amount of subscribers etc. You can apply for ads. Its just for money. If that's something you need more of.
As a daycare teacher, I actually read a book called " Peter Cottontail Spring Surprise" today to the kids. In the story, the bunny has hens and hens lay speckled eggs, the bunny and his friends paint the eggs, and send to children. It is much more better, and much less creepy story than bunny lay the eggs.

Easter actually has a lot of symbolisms that were taken from the holiday, Ostara. Eggs symbolize birth and rabbits are commonly associated with fertility. 🐇

Oh btw Moriah, one helpful tip to get the paint off of ur paint pallet is to poor water in the little crevices of the pallet, and then let it sit for a couple hours. After that you can peel it off satisfyingly. 😊

With regard to the Egg\Bunny conundrum, the Rabbit is actually a Hare, which is sacred to the Goddess Eostre/Ostara. The are two possible stories connecting the Hare and the Egg;
The first is that Eostre found a bird with frozen wings and saved it by transforming it into a rabbit, which retained the ability to lay eggs.
The second story is of a bird who laid beautiful eggs, and was so proud that Eostre was irked and turned the bird into a Hare, but she was so moved by the Hare's distress that she allowed it to lay beautiful eggs once a year.
I went to Germany for Easter once and they really made a big thing of it, with people putting decorated eggs on trees in their gardens. 😊
You are reffering to the holiday Ostara with is a pagan holiday. Easter besides the wierd story is about Christianity
I'm pretty certain Christianity takes some inspiration from pagen celebration, as seen from Christmas
Easter is also celebrated for Jesus dying on the cross to save us from our sins (Palm Sunday is when he come to town and Good Friday is when he was crucified)
And Christmas was when he was born
