I'm a newcomer to this channel... It looks like a marathon watch is in order... It delights me watching anyone enjoy their food regardless of what they're eating... Then, we get a conversation along with the meal... It's encouraging to see folks enjoying life at every age and I do believe that Tom enjoys his life... I once lived north of Nashville in Cheatham County, Pleasant View to be exact... It was a small city that had 2 grocery stores, 1 gas station, and nothing to do... However, it was a fun place to live in the '70s... Anyway, this channel will be FUN !
Anytime I'm feelin depressed, I always turn one of this guy's videos on. They honestly actually really help. This man has one of the most soothing voices I have ever heard.
Tom you are a legend! I love listening to your stories especially your cars. You are very humbling to listen to just like my grandfather, he was my hero born in 1932 I was fascinated especially with the cars he had and the music from the 50’s that I’m so in love with today! You are a generation that I respect with all my heart and hope you live forever! All my love...... James from the UK
Yes! 1931 Pierce-Arrow. One showed up at my school prom a few years ago. It was HUGE. Still had the heavy smell of leather upholstery. When the owner/collector drove it away, it left without a sound. More like a whisper.
This brings me back to spending summers with my grandparents, listening to their stories and looking through old photo albums. He was a car guy and was partial to Studebakers. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Thank you for the dinner chat tonight. With experience, I have learned to get my food ready before I click on your video so I can eat along with you. Otherwise, I end up starving by the end of the video and find myself hopping in my car. One particular time was watching you eat pumpkin pie. I ended up running to store to buy pumpkin pie -- and I don't even like pumpkin pie. lol You have a way of making everything look good! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!
Your chicken dinner looked good. I have lived in Ky all my life. I'm not far from Louisville. About 45 min. away from me. My dear Dad (who has passed away) had a 73 Plymouth Cuda and a 39 Ford Coupe. My nephew (his grandson has the Cuda). I'm having a hard time selling his Ford. He loved that car. He had is painted canary yellow. Miss him so much, he was my best friend.
Nice video Tom. Love the car memories. They don’t make em like they used to ....you have lived through some great times and are still around to share them .....thank you .
Tom, you are one of a kind and a national treasure!!! I'm these messed up times you are a refreshing breath of fresh air!!! Keep pumping out the videos! How about a garden update!!!
Thank you for the trip through memory lane with some good old KFC sir. You've owned some beautiful cars and mentioned some of my favorites. Cars are far too cookie cutter designs now. At one point, they were art.
Hi Tom, I enjoy your videos. I clicked on as soon as i received the notification. I live in Nashville, grew up here. Keep making videos. They are very soothing.
I used to spend lunch hour eating with my dad and we would have just random and very interesting conversations about everything from cars to cattle; from crops to just life in general. My dad always wanted us to go t Dairy Queen and he would have his “fish sandwich,” fried potatoes and a cup of black coffee. Oh how I miss those times and make it a point to stop by a relive that feeling watching Tom enjoy his meals. Maybe some day our paths can cross over a fish sandwich and if it doesn’t happen please keep your videos coming. God bless you Tom.
I just came across your video for the first time and bawled my eyes out, you remind me so much of my grandpa whom I loved to death but he passed in 2005. Please keep doing these wonderful calming and informative videos. 💕💕💕 made my day finding this channel I have been missing him greatly lately 🙏
I had a 1968 Rambler American. She was a sedan. 232 I6, AT, AM radio, dealer installed under dash AC. I bought her in 1998 for $600. She had 42,000 miles on her. AC still blew cold! Great car!! Should never have sold her!! -James
Hope you are doing well! My grandpa passed many years ago so listening to feature man is kinda like having grandpa talking. I do love this channel. Take care
My grandfather collected cars and had a majority of the cars you mentioned. As a young boy, on Sunday's he would take us driving in his limo, and we would get a bucket of KFC. He also made the best coleslaw and did so every Thanksgiving.
Little fact, Harland Sanders was actually a Hoosier. Really enjoyed the talk about cars. My dad was an auto body man, professionally, and an awesome mechanic. My brother followed in his steps. Lots of car talk in our household. My dad is declining fast with dementia, you really made me miss the “dad” I knew. If I was there, and there wasn’t an epidemic, I’d give you a big ol hug around your neck!!
My first vehicle was a 1963 Rambler American coupe....salmon pink/ with red stripe...Great car! Not my choice of colors... But the price was right. I always enjoy watching👍
You and my Grandfather would have got along like two peas in a pod! I miss having lunch with him and listening to his endless stories, which is why i find myself watching all of your content.
I’ve been to Corbin a million times and I never knew about the Ky drumstick shape thing. Thanks for the talk, my buddies Dad raced a Henry J, wild looking Kaiser.
I just ate dinner at KFC yesterday, Saturday and got the same exact meal. Everything was delicious. I also like their coleslaw. I get tired of eating and doing everything alone.
You guys ever have it about 35 yrs ago give or take? Before extra this and special that? Bucket of chicken and rolls on top, slaw, taters n gravy. The Colonel is spinning at 3500 rpm because of what’s happened to his chicken
Deborah chesser Yes, I’m 70 years of age and I don’t recall it being any different. Original or Extra Crispy. We used to buy it by the bucket and all the fixes.
I love KFC. Haven't had any in so long I'd kill for a bucket and 4 biscuits. Play bass alone. Eat alone and like my solitude. My cats are the only company I need most times. They also love KFC.
Dear John the Judd Hirsch vehicle? Hah! I grew up watching that when I was a kid. Ages 6-10. Loved hearing about your personal cars. I have a 1995 Jeep I hope to keep with me as long as possible. Open top, half doors. Would be nice to have your 2005 van though... covered and big enough to sleep in. Thanks for the memories and I think I'll get some chicken.
My uncle has been working on cars since 1960 and he even restored his '63 Porsche and '72 Chevelle to near perfect condition. He even taught me to drive stick in his Porsche! (His friends said he was crazy for letting me drive it!)
I recall going to Kentucky once as a child with my parents and grandparents. I saw the blue green grass and was wowed by that. And I saw a big statue of the racehorse Man-O-War, and was impressed by that too. 🐴
Great man great to watch. I find myself worrying about him. Hoping hes safe and well and keeps up the good work. I literally get so excited when there is a new vid 🤣 love you tom from sheffield united kingdom thank you for giving us a glimpse of your life
Have you had that mole on your neck (visible at 3:48) checked out recently? It looks different than on previous videos, although it could just be the lighting.
Have you looked into going to cars and coffee here in Nashville? It’s got all kinds of cars coming out the first Saturday of the month every month. You also remind me a lot of my father who passed just over a Year ago. Thank you for all you do 💕
This guy is great.....so relaxing, be cool to have a meal with him!....This guy is a WEALTH of knowledge.....would love to just ask him questions for an hour!!!I love KFC too....
The Packard was before my time, but I am partial to the old Dodge Dart slant 6, before all the pollution control shit they started in the mid-70s. The slant 6 engine was the most simplistic and reliable engine that would last for half a million miles if maintained.
@majooismajor I have started making my own dressing with ketchup mayo and relish. It is actually much better than the store bought Thousand island dressings. I prefer lettuce salad over cabbage though.
The Checker Marathon was made all the way into the early 80s with the exact same body style. There is a very cool doc on UA-cam about it that is worth checking out . On a seperate note Tennessee is one of the best locations to live in the US for car collecting as it borders 7 states and gives a buyer more options. I know a couple guys that live there for that very reason

I left wheelchair at Arby's and now I'm walking on water 🤯
Welcome! The most satisfying channel you will ever come across x
Welcome aboard. Enjoy the content. You are now one of Toms grandkids.🙂

Damn!! Same. I love Toms content but boy he makes me hungry 🤣
My grandfather died at 81 when I was 13, and this guy feels like the Grandpa of youtube. Love listening to his stories.

Follow the White Rabbit that’s great 😂
"Smitty had two cars... A 1934 Dodge... And another 1934 Dodge..."
I just found your channel, I love listening to your stories!
I wasn’t even 2 minutes into the video that I ordered some chicken to be delivered. Thanks for the good evening chat!
A woman after my own heart!
KFC can be really wonderful I like their chicken :)
Hope it was Popeyes 😉
5:20 Smitty had two cars. "A 1934 Dodge (pause) and another 1934 Dodge". 😂
I found that funny too. I like his sense of humour. So subtle 😄
I love the little special effects he adds randomly throughout the videos
KFC coleslaw is the best! Would love to hear more about your family!
This makes me miss my grandfather and at the same time makes me feel like I still have one 💜
This is really therapeutic for me, Tom. As I enjoy both cars and KFC. Thank you

You could make a video on old cars by itself, that would be interesting.
I love that you bring your own spoon.😊👍🏼

Watching this in bed put me to sleep halfway thru the video. Thanks Tom.
Lots of interesting facts and tidbits of knowledge about the cars, great video! Make us another one like this please Tom!

I love you. You have the best content I could watch you for hours
According to an article I read alcoholism will take ten years off my life expectancy, so I’m so proud to see a fellow exceeding.
My brother in-law has a 39 Packard 8 cylinder with 15k original miles, original paint. I said the same thing about the backseat, it’s like a couch.
My uncle has been working on cars since 1960 and he even restored his '63 Porsche and '72 Chevelle to near perfect condition. He even taught me to drive stick in his Porsche! (His friends said he was crazy for letting me drive it!)
Why am I watching someone eating KFC, dont know, do I enjoy this content, yes.
Thank you.
I really appreciate your videos. Thank you for putting this stuff out.

Great video as always, Featureman! My Dad had a Nash Rambler when I was a kid. Do you remember the Tucker? Very innovative car company.
Great video Tom your videos always help me
did you know they contract the coleslaw out? Here in Maine they use Jim's Salad. I wonder if it like that everywhere? Thanks for sharing I am a Fan
I remember hearing you talk about KFC and Pepsi in another video. In the UK, all the KFC drinks containers are still Pepsi branded.
Have you looked into going to cars and coffee here in Nashville? It’s got all kinds of cars coming out the first Saturday of the month every month. You also remind me a lot of my father who passed just over a Year ago. Thank you for all you do 💕

I really enjoy 😊 hearing about what life was like for our elderly. I personally feel the older should teach the younger.
The Packard was before my time, but I am partial to the old Dodge Dart slant 6, before all the pollution control shit they started in the mid-70s. The slant 6 engine was the most simplistic and reliable engine that would last for half a million miles if maintained.
I've had 3 Buick's driving one today great union made ride 🎄 thanks for sharing have a great New Year
I've started eating more coleslaw because of you.
I don't eat more, but I think of Tom every time I eat it.
majooismajor I've actually made it. It's not bad, but traditional coleslaw is better.
majooismajor wtf?
@majooismajor I have started making my own dressing with ketchup mayo and relish. It is actually much better than the store bought Thousand island dressings. I prefer lettuce salad over cabbage though.
