In my humble opinion this wasn't the best year for Power Metal. There was still plenty of good stuff, but when I look back at my lists for the last few years I feel like they look stronger. I'll hope for better in 2025. As always, a massive thank you to the Ranger for another year of hard work in the name of Power Metal. And thanks again for recommending Metal De Facto to me. What an album that was!!🤘🤘

That was definitely a really good one!!!

Not ao much power metal, but check out Finnish band Fire Action. They released their debut Until The Heat Dies last year by SPV / Steamhammer

I must say that I am not a big fan of last years Releases. There wasn't one album that completly blew me away. I have bought:

I also listened to Powerwolf (didn't convince me to buy it) but I haven't listened to Aeon Gods which can be quite good but probably contender for the best album this year:

I haven't got any album by them but listened to the first 3 songs of the album and loved all of them. So I will buy this one in the near future.
But this year will probably be way better! Ancient bards, Avantasia, Helloween, Shadowstrike, Insania, Magic Opera, maybe Legend Of Valley Doom or Aldaria,...

This year already started with Dragonknight - Legions. I`ve listened to half of it - i`d give it 4/5.
@@Atlas-fx80 I have preorderd it by EMP but they have some Kind of a issue... so, I get my CD probably early next week (so frustrating) and I just can't really listen to albums, I don't have the CD from😅
