Thank you so much for watching! Please do share the video so we can do more like this in the future.
More of these please! ❤
Thank you! I've shared it on the community page of my channel with big kudos to you for making it!
I could have watched them for an hour or more! Thank you Andrew that was just amazing. Let's hope they get some young apprentices in to keep up those traditions
Absolutely amazing video and by far the best from you or any other UA-camr I have seen so far. More of this please!
I enjoy watching highly skilled crafts people at work on intricate machinery. The fact that these folks do it on parts that are so small makes it even more fascinating. Thank you for this video Andrew and when can we have another?
Watching watchmakers do their thing is easily one of the most relaxing, meditative things I can think of. Love this!
Interesting comment as a watchmaker must be in a completely relaxed and meditative state not to get the shakes and make a mess.
I really hope this gets the engagement, because this is peak hands only era watchfinder
This is one of those videos that will never get 1 milllion views, but that I could watch 1 million times. Thanks for making it :)
Incredible video. More of these please! It's incredibly fascinating and satisfying to see inside the institutions that we think about daily.
The quality of the editing and voice-over match that of the work being shown.
The shots filmed here are amazing
incredible company with even more incredibly skilled people
Brilliant. This is what I like to see. Thanks Andrew. Well done
It’s gratifying to know such skills and dedication still exist.
I just watched it three times in a row....
if only I were younger and had better eyes....
This is what I have been waiting for from Watchfinder for a long time. The work done by these maisons need to be shown and shared - to appreciate the delicate artistry that goes into the higher end watches and why they cost so much.
I am seeing 10k views so far and less than 1k likes/thumbs up. Really disappointing that the likes are so few. For those who are watching it more than 5x, I hope you have shared the video with more people.
p.s. I hope Watchfinder & Co. team were allowed to go through VC's archives to show the extent of their watch designs and collections of the past.
Most subscribers are still going to be after status baubles. And not especially bothered about the painstaking process of hand made watch manufacture.
That’s why Andrew and Tom have had to resort to comedy heavy watch related sketches to attract subscribers. The same crowd who watch nico et Al. It’s what sells on UA-cam unfortunately
😍 the video I have been waiting for
Best video, great to see a used watch specialist chanel showing us how cool used watches are! More please!
Stunning.
How refreshing to see just watches instead of your ugly mugs. Perfect!
This is exactly what you expect when you buy from a company like Vacheron Constantin or Patek Philippe. Even, begrudgingly, Audemars Piguet. I could watch hours of b-roll over some relaxing music. Amazing video and thanks for sharing.
I wish there was a perpetual stream of such footage to lofi beats
As a designer and restorer, this was a fantastic video. This level of craftmanship and artistry is truly world class. Please profile more maison's.
*absolute unbelievable, truly incredible God Bless and God Speed to the Kings and Queens of Vacheron*
Thanks Andrew for sharing this video with us. So educational and entertaining.
Kudos to Vacheron Constantine's team of highly dedicated craftsmen for giving us a view of what it's like building a watch. Thank you for this Andrew, I could watch them over and over and still enjoy it.
This was absolutely amazing, really enjoyed every minute of it,thank you, take care. 😊😊😊😊👍🏻
This was so interesting, thank you for making this video!
Wow~good!!!
It's amazing how much artistery and skill is required to bring these tiny machines back to its glory
I had to consciously make my self breathe watching this. I kept holding my breath in case I created a vibration! So amazing! Thank you.
Nice one
Wowwww! More videos like this please
I bought a Vacheron Constantin from Watchfinder pretty covid. Im so glad i did, this makes me feel proud to love the brand for what they stand for. I could have bought a Rolex for the same money, but somehow i don't think I would be writing this now. Well done for the video and Thank you V.C. for being yourselves and not some hyped up brand.
Just incredible. Thank you.
Nice piece and great footage. More of this please.
Thank you
Andrew, this is your best! So wonderful! Bravo!
More videos like this please! Love it.
Wonderful video. A breath of fresh air from the channel.
Thank you for this reportage. I’m myself a watch who is doing all theses things. I love my job.
I had this watch a few days after release (lovely AD!). I’ve a just-under 7” wrist.
I’m a fan of 36mm DJ and OPs, and whilst I’ve had Subs, Planet Oceans and Seamasters, I’ve gravitated toward 36mm sizes now (mostly because I don’t want the lugs to hang over, even from the side profile).
I found the watch fit superbly at 37mm and was beautifully made. It wore like a 37.5/38mm to me (the Certina DS Action Diver was another 38mm I tried before the Tudor, and it wore similar in my mind). If you like the aesthetics, I’d heartily recommend it! Get it on wrist and try it.
In the end, I sold it to another watch lover (IDGuy, if you know him) as I truly seem to have found my preference and prefer plain bezels, such as those found on an OP. Go figure…!
VC is on of the greatest.
Please more of these!
I am blown away by the amount of skill these people have. Silly with my eyesight and otherwise dexterity is gone where I can't even change the spring pins on a watch band anymore. I do hope these people are paid well for their skills.
I just love these old machines and this video.
It's been recommended before. You guys should do some spots with Stian Lofstad of Vintage Watch Services and Joe of the Nekkid Watchmaker. Both are very skilled and knowledgeable watch restorers and are very entertaining as well.
Fantastic workmanship and attention to detail!
That was absolutely brilliant. I actually got a bit emotional watching it. I must find other hobbies...
At 9:34. Which vintage Vacheron model is this watch? It's gorgeous. Very simple.
This skill is outstanding. Well done folks.
What a fantastic video. Thank you 😊
Esto es arte ❤ dan ganas de comprar un Vacheron. Este video es para seguir enamorado de las cosas echas por artesanos.
What a brilliant video. I really appreciate the choice to use macro lenses for all the shots!
This is right up there with the first Watchfinder vid I found on UA-cam and seen countless times: Rolex Submariner Watchmaking Demonstration
Absolutely Perfect!
Three times replayed! Very great video!
This is VC best marketing! This is marketing done well! Love it
Thanks Andrew for a great insight to the soul & artistry that goes into putting together a beautiful watch like a VC.
My favourite watch brand of all, that is out of reach.
Dreaming is part of what makes something like this so special.
Thanks again for a great vid.
Paul.
I thought this was a Wristwatch Revival video at first. I was surprised when Marshall's voice was absent and the talking hands man was taking his place!
High quality content; more of this please.
Now I understand why these “high end” watches costs more than my house!😜😅😂 Great video Andy!👌🏼
Very relaxing video!
This is the best restoration video I've seen. I hope I can afford one of the watches some day.
Amazing! Give us more like this, please!
absolutely brilliant and mesmerizing, thank you
WE WANT MORE OF THIS!!!
Stunning work by craftsmen. I absolutely loved this video. Can we have more like this, please!
I know everything was made by hand at the beginning, but seeing a hair spring being made is still mind blowing.
You the man👊👍
Must show this to a friend we call "the watchmaker", his hands are huge and rough as sandpaper, his "charm" in movement like a truck without brakes. Finally i'll tell him how much the bill of such a repair can be... Lots of laughter i guess!
No shorts, no faces, just watches, thank You!
A fine piece of commentary.
Beautiful. Great video.
So cool from the makers of the amazing Patrimony with sub-second hands that look like a cross.
God bless.
Those tiny little machine tools are just incredible.
Wonderful vid, thank you. Confirming, I'd guess, why most of us are so attracted to finely made time pieces.
Fabuleux 💙
Vacheron has such an appreciation for their history, that the original spare parts are indexed and stored in drawers. I don't see Rolex restoring any of their timepieces to spec in order to preserve the legacy.
Amazing skills, but can they finish steel like San Martin though??
Some dude "But why do they cost much?"
UA-cam
Very interesting, they take such loving care of vintage creations. Rolex won’t touch a vintage Rolex.
The fuck are you talking about, rolex has a literal stock of parts for vintage watches
@@melody3741No they don't. They are known for not touching watches over a certain age.
the expert makes it looks easy :'))
More of this!
❤
Beautiful!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
More loke this please. I'd love to see the "insides" of other matchmakers.
More of these video's!
Fantastic video but why the wrong watch on the thumbnail? Why not put a photo of the watch being restored (as seen in the end) on the thumbnail?
what a reminder as to why I choose to wear a mechanical watch , outstanding video.
That wtf I’m talking about. Fantastic episode!
My eyes were watering and straining just looking at the outer level.
I’m something of an artisan myself - changed the battery on my Swatch by removing the battery hatch with a penny - replaced it the same way - no cap
vacheron constantin ❤❤❤❤❤
That was a glorious bit of video. The artistry the team have there is incredible. Could have watched that for ages! 👍
I love Vacheron
Very cool
Awesome
very nice
What about the dial? Is it just replaced?
WOW just WOW
My god!! We are wasting our time on earth🤦♂️
