You really need to play the Sims 3 more. This game has so much you haven't even seen. You need to do a legit, deep playthrough (even if its away from recording). Its soooooo much fun. Uni is fun. Going through the Future thing and changing what the future looks like because of what you do in your current timeline. There is just so much.
That's the biggest problem for anyone who tries the game for the first time though, there's so much the game gets bloated. To really enjoy the sims 3 you kind of have to deactivate most packs except the ones you want to use.
@@ovinedreamer1451 I think that depends on the system and how you have it set up? I use all the packs and mods, and it glitches less often for me that Sims 4.
@@wynnyx7071 I don't mean glitches, I mean just general chaos. It's a bit of a challenge to focus on exploring the vacation worlds with time portals, weather stones and plant muching zombies interfering with everything. It's one of those games you really need a plan for when going in or you'll get sidetracked...though that might just be my ADHD talking.
The fact that you didn’t even see even half of the Easter eggs and references is crazy. The town makes pretty obvious references to media like the nightmare before Christmas, a series of unfortunate events, Harry Potter, and I’m sure there’s more I don’t remember. Just shows how much lore they truly put in Sims 3. There’s always something new to learn or notice
This is my favorite store world because it's so unique in the sims 3 and I just recently learned that the creepy dolls follow you with the eyes, I mean the follow the camera and look directly at you all the time 😂

I think the reason there was no actual bar for the pub is because professional bars came with Late night, so if you have that you can replace the self serve to make it a real pub!
I think that the girl who wears pink night be meant to wear the Lolita fashion! Her outfit isn't perfect but it was probably the best they could do Andi have to say getting bell shaped skirts to work in game must be sooooo hard!
It was the only store world i bought, i loved the dark gothic theme and with the addition of toy making. The residents have some rather unique stories to check out as well. There did use to be a site that told the backstories of the residents. You can get lightning mods to lighten it up for those who didn't enjoy the more eerie feeling.
The only way I could ever actually see anything in Midnight Hollow was with BrntWaffle's lighting mods, lol. They have one that's specifically for Midnight Hollow, that brightens it up some and adds spooky red sunsets. It looks really cool. But even that was too dark for me, so I used their Blue Skies and Sunshine Lighting Mod. It's been awhile since I played it, and you have to be mindful of which water you choose (Roaring Heights turquoise water doesn't quite fit the MH aesthetic, lol), but it made it so much easier to play.
in 3, there are two types of bars. one to "make quick drink" and i believe mixologists dont spawn, and one for the mixology career thats bigger that comes with late night. to make late night exclusive to those bars with the mixology career, every other ep has the small version. if u replace the bar with one of the late night ones mixologists will spawn, viola!

it was the first ever "store only" world i got, i love victorian houses and this world was full of some great houses and stories

Aaah, I miss unique towns like this in the Sims 4. Another pack you could try is Into the Future.
