Mike. I did watch your review from a year ago and this updated review after a year of usage along with your assessments. Thank you for putting so much thought into this review. Your insights helped me with purchasing decision of the FSR Evo 2. Your review is very informative from a user’s perspective. Unlike others who just focused in specs. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work!
I have had my EVO 2 XL for about a year. I have the same lost horizon tent with a small inflator/deflator. Works great for me at 6'3. I have similar likes and gripes. Wish it had more attachment points inside for things. I have added the cross bars on top. I also added 2 Bouge RV 200 watt CIGS solar panels that glue to the top of the roof giving me 400 watts of solar. That fit my tent perfect giving me essentially a double roof layer. I have mine on a Power Wagon and so far love the tent.
Two questions: the person sleeping next to the slanted side of the tent, do they find that annoying? Does it feel like there is less space because of the slant? 2nd, the bar thats in front of the main door, does your shin hit it going in and out of the tent? I have the iKamper x-cover 2.0 mini and I love it, but I may be swapping RTT’s next year and this tent is on my radar.
Hey, love the questions! Regarding your first, not at all. It is a very "vertical" slant. It would only be an issue for unexpected rain! 2nd - I've never got my shin on that bar. Haven't even thought about it. We switched over from the iKamper skycamp mini and while that was a fantastic tent, it was like going from a Honda to a Porsche! Good luck with the search and reach out if you have any more questions.

I want to see the video of the rain falling on you 🤙🏽😂
I know...I should have used a hose but then I would have had to let the tent air out lolz
Great video and explanation of the tent.
Thank you kindly!
