Hi The reason for the exhaust tips being designed like that is to actually help the owner. The tradition exhaust tips were cool but in a rear end collision the damage can go all the way to the engine with the tradition exhaust tips. I am just thinking that inside the fake exhaust tip there is still the actual pipe... So you literally have 10 cm in between them.

My opinion is, the gear selecter is on the perfect place behind the steering wheel. Why should they put them between the two front seets. This is an automatic car not manual.... there is enougth to put 4 buttons, P D R and N. The gear shifter is completly useless.
You have a point, it's just that they are pretty much the only manufacturer doing it. I'm tired of flicking the wipers in my m2 on when I want to put reverse after driving a mercedes for a couple weeks (this has actually happened, repeatedly). Maybe it's just me. :D
Misha, did you managed to test new GLC and GLC Coupe? 63s? Are they different in terms of suspension and driving comfort? Or just that GLC has more trunk space?
I haven’t yet driven the restyled version of the GLC. However it has only minor changes... The chassis and everything is exactly the same, just the look and yes you get slightly less trunk space. Still love there look of both of them.

That was very enjoyable mate! I have this car's bigger sister the GLE63 and we have been very happy with it. It goes from a comfortable baby hauler to a hooligan with the turn of a knob!

I have the SUV. The coupe, well you either love the shape or hate it, and I most certainly don't love it :-) The 5.5L is incredible. Sounds great too. The interior is a little dated compared to the newer offerings from MB and they are supposedly coming up with the new one this Fall, but odds are the 5.5L is going the way of the dodo since it's all about downsizing. Again really nice work on the review, nice photography and editing and music. Definitely subscribing for more :-)

completely agree about the exhaust tips. Why oh why are all the German manufacturers doing this. Audi is the absolute worst with this. This application is one of the better ones, but please just give me some fat quad exhaust pipes coming out the rear. Otherwise, this car is amazing

Exhaust pipe move when you drive and can be rly hot so it burn plastic around it, bugatti and ferrari have fake diffuser to thats not a price thing ^^
Also makes cleaning the tips and keeping them clean easier...
