@@theresa_lili Great question, Theresa! I think this would work with the Teal Memories kit (if you like some aqua accents in there) and also the Dragonfly Lake kit. For smaller extra kits, this kit would work well with the Bugs Project Pack. And more :)
I was attracted to the interesting printables in this kit. I still can't figure out what to do with junk journals so I haven't made any yet. I've bought at least a dozen die sets besides these kits from VectoriaDesigns. That said, I had to comment on the high quality of this particular tutorial. I'm an experienced card maker however I need and appreciate the step by step instructions included in this tutorial. As others have noted, it's all here. Thank you for not assuming that everybody cuts pages the same way or even knows how to do it! Thank you for showing how to assemble every signature with optional add-ons. I was toying around with making this kit for a friend. After viewing the first half of this tutorial, I felt confident that I could do it. After seeing the whole video, and realizing I have all of the materials, I've already printed most of the papers. I really love the kits and tutorials from Tinne and friends.
I know when I say 'Thank you for showing us the many ways to cut the journal pages' I speak for us all!!! Always a professional presentation that feels more like sitting with a friend and watching the magic happen. Thanks for sharing.

I was so much fun watching this tutorial. I recently purchased the Spring Blossom kit. I thought this journal pattern would using the Spring Blossom kit. On the spine I used embroidered flowers up the spine instead of buttons. It is turning out gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your talent.

I have watched many hours of tutorials after discovering junk journals in January. This is without a doubt the very best of them all when it comes To beginning and carrying it all the way through to making a double journal.
I have been preparing Signatures for 2 journals that I am ready to begin. One is an idea journal for myself and the other is a remember me journal although the subject Is a rainbow forest. It is for my granddaughter who is struggling with Gender identity and her father signing over his rights. She is 12 years old. These will be the 1st to actual journals I have made. Of course Cora's is very important to me.
I am explaining this because I wanted you to know that my thank you is most sincere. I believe that I can use just this one is this 1 video Even though I am not using a kit And to make her a journal that she will keep forever and will make her smile no matter who she is Or becomes.

How well does the masking tape hold up? I would have thought it would get crispy with time and the adhesive dried out. I like how it looks but concerned it wouldn't last well.
Me too. That's why I haven't used this method yet. But that masking tape is inside and covered with other papers and glue. So even if it dried out, I don't think you would ever know and for sure it wouldn't ruin the journal.
This is Beautiful and I have never been a fan of Junk ones.

Are all the pages printed on thicker paper?
Hi there, just a quick question ‘How do you get your back and from journal pages to match up’? Mine are always slightly out.
It depends on the printer you have. My Canon's usually line up perfectly. But some printers just never print exactly in the center (which is a pain). In that case I would print a simple vintage full paper on the back. I hope this helps.
I think your question has to do with the internal pages right? When you fold journal pages inside of each other, the inner pages will be a different width than the outer pages. Sometimes I leave them like that as it adds to the junkiness and appeal. Sometimes I trim them so they are all even. I have also added a lace trim to the short ones. I have an inexpensive printer that doesn't print borderless so this is an ongoing issue to deal with. But I have learned to relax about it.

I wish I could buy them already printed....my printer is broken :( do you have any kits that are pre-printed?
I'm very sorry, we don't have that. You can put them on a flash drive and bring them to your local copy/print shop to print, maybe that's an idea?

I want to create art not build cogs, not put together someone else's creative ideas like a factory worker.
