This weekly I’ve been trying to play with the least amount of gold possible to save it for later turns, but honestly you can just treat it like a normal weekly.
I've been really enjoying this weekly. But I see why having gold roll over was not part of the base game design. It's pretty easy to know when your team strength is on curve, and when that's the case I just save as much gold as possible. With a bit of shop luck it's quite easy to get to turn 11 with close to 30 gold, without sacrificing many hearts. And at that point you can very quickly build out the team you plan to take to the end game. Unlike the other wacky weekly, I feel that the gimmick in this one is actually something that the devs probably considered as an option for how the base game could work when they were first developing the game. It's cool to get to see what the game could have been in that sense. But they obviously made the right choice as gold roll over means shop luck plays a much bigger roll and creates a greater snowballing effect.
A funny challenge I came up with is to spend gold only if you're at 30, so every third turn (3rd, 6th, 9th and so on). Though I am not sure if this is more like a strategy or a challenge as I managed to get it on 2nd attempt 😎 (I actually uploaded the run on my channel if anyone's interested) I recommend to try the challenge ps. great video as always!
I like that you try to find cool things instead of trying to just win. I am just like you in a completely different game than sap :P Anyway I was wondering if you Could try (grizzlyBear Cerberus blobfish) with the idea of blob fish resetting cerberus triggers? i used to try it a few weeks ago in a weekly but now its gone :(
Me too. Although, I have bought a Pheasant when I see it in shop, just in case I get it to level 3 (for a badge). This weekly is all about Minotaur/Kangaroo/Tatzelwurm until Crocs, T Rex and snakes are in the shop. Hawk in position 2 is surprisingly effective. :)

I find myself just rolling and completely forgetting about the tiny house
Croc is so busted this weekly, i tried going for a 5oak with full fig and won too fast TWICE but eventually got it
Nice! Yeah it is hard to balance with the variation between the mega pivot teams and the no stats tempo teams

Yeah I've seen many people suggest in the past that gold should roll over. Bad idea!
10:41 Crocs are, indeed, nice
Confirmed

Great idea 👍
Just saving some gold for odd turns is pretty good so you change your team more with a new tier
Yup, it's just tough to break the roll down habits
I was really hoping to see a big daycrawler the first turn, but you bought the horses onto each other 😭
Wasn't even thinking about nightcrawler as a possibility!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Yeah I've been wanting to try more blobfish reset stuff now that it works with 2 pets...
which game
@@NotAGameDevlog sry for late reply. it is heroes of newerth but i would not recommend it to anyone :)
I have been skipping turn 1 and 2 so I have 30 gold in the tier 2 shop. I don’t think it’s good but it’s kinda fun to skip the very early game.
It's funny to me to see the teams on turn 1 or 2 where they only have 1 pet, like they realised 3 gold too late that they could just skip entirely 😆

I feel like tatzel wyrm is just a strictly better pdf?
PDF is more swag 😎
