I did this 90 days ago and got 10%. Remember to move to PAIN and DON'T let them move you past that point. My Dr. had their way with me during the ROM test.
Both hips total reconstructed in 2018 and 2020. I separated from the military in Jan 2016. I’ve been doing physical therapy for right hip the last 8 months.
During my exam I was placed on a table and I was asked to basically raise my knees up and down separately...I am going to request my DBQs during my VERA call to see how my conditions were documented.
Thank you again Leah for taking the time to make this video and explaining the different parts of the c&p exam. Once again, I learned something more to use during my c&p exam
I had knee surgery in 2009 for my patella. I was walking with a limp and recently found out that I had a hip labrum tear. Could this be secondary to my knee? I had hip labrum surgery in September.
Possibly! Every veterans case is different of course. If you are considering a nexus letter and would like more information please email me at info@prestigeveteranmctx.com
While I was in the Army I sustained a dislocated right hip and multiple fractures of the pelvis I only got 10 percent for my hip can I file for pain in my pelvis?
@@louissoto1529 I actually have a good friend that was my VSO in long island but he retired last year. VSO's are free advocates that are accredited and can help you file your claim. Here is a list you can start with in your area: www.benefits.va.gov/newyork/veterans-services-orgs.asp
All I did was fill out the electronic form on the VA site and they scheduled an appointment. In my form, I just stated that it was secondary to my right hip issue and that it was sore when I moved/walked.
Hello thanks for Great Video on educating Veterans. Hope you are ok?. I have been watching your videos for Months. You are losing lots of weight, it shows on your face. Concerned Veteran
Thanks for the concerns. I gained a little weight awhile back when I had pretty serious shoulder trauma on both sides requiring surgery to both shoulders. I was pretty debilitated for about 6 months and couldn’t do many things without assistance so it really slowed me down. I’m back to normal now and have been able to get back to my normal activities and get back to running and doing martial arts which I enjoy very much.

They usually consider the pelvis part of the hip sir. Sorry to hear about your injury
Fight it you have no idea the power of saying NO I don’t agree
Can you do a video on how to write up the claim correctly ?
Unfortunately I can't because I am not a legal professional. Have you checked with a VSO?
@prestigeveteranmedical never heard of them. How do i find one in long Island ny

Amazing information 💯
Glad you think so my friend!
What if i have flare ups and have minimal or no pain during the c and p?
You can describe those details to them about when you do have flareups which may be helpful
I have diagnosed cam hip impingement. Va denied it and I never got a c and p appointment
Have you seen my video on FAI? This specifically is related to Cam impingement. Might be a good one to watch
I have the same thing and labral tears. Can I connect it to my lumbar s/c issues?
@@prestigeveteranmedical no but thank you for telling me. I’ll watch it. Thanks.
@@joshuamiller7244 Possibly! Please contact us at info@prestigeveteranmctx.com and I can get you some additional information
