Yeah I use to same the same when I use to teach kids this back in the early 2000's and they said you are tracing not drawing. I told them it is more to it than tracing I have been drawing all my life and I said you have to also be able to see what you are tracing which is the key and this is true for color as well which is allot harder than tracing the outline. They quickly found out tracing was not easy and art skills helped with the having better results in the illustrations.
I think the best part of the video was watching you make your lines in real time. It gave me a better understanding. I was trying to move way too fast because I wasn't remembering you were speeding the video up. Great tutorial once again! Thanks bro!

You make it look so easy. One thing I would point out is I think you should have chosen a skin tone more closer to the original image. That being said, it still looks incredible.

Your work is great! One of my complaints about digital painting is you can only really pull skin tones from oranges... which isn't true to life because some people have blue or red undertones...I guess you could get some of that to show through with transparency layers... but I feel the base browns being all in the orange spectrum is so limiting. Also your voice and cadence is soothing. I want you to read me a happy story.
