Shaykh Zakariya R.H's commentary in 18 volumes on the book Muwatta of Imam Malik R.H. A Hadith book compiled by the great Imam Malik. According to Imam Al-Shafi R.H, the most authentic book after the Quran is the Muwatta of Imam Malik. May Allah bless all these Aimma, enlighten their graves and accept their service for Hadith and Deen. Amin

Truly inspiring to hear when a non-Arab excels so much in the Arabic language I guess many of us fail to realise that many great Ulamah were not Arab, even Imam Bukhari (ra) wasn't Arab as well as others.
i.e. to author books in classical Arabic, PS: my comment is in respect to just this point...may Allah make it easy for us all to learn Arabic. Including myself insha'Allah.

it is said he who criticizes the scholars will have no scholars of deen in his progeny. may Allah save us from criticisng the scholars of deen living or dead ameen
