But it doesn't mean u should completely avoid a mutual friendly relation with men. Draupadi was friendly to Krishna. Friendship should be pure and still many good friendship exist.
If a family doesn't have sons or even men, their are such families, we need to interact with men at many places and be soft spoken.

Females were used to learn education in ancient India. U can predict from our historical stories (I will not use mythological word). That time females were ruler too. Maharani Draupadi was intelligent woman in the world in that era. But females knew that home caring and management of house works etc were their first duty, and males also knew that house management is not easy,they earn money etc, but never get arrogant they were used give respect to females. But nowadays females thought that the money earning is the most important than their first duties. Also males want earning wife for collecting money. So both are equally responsible for this condition
