- The queues at the immigration department at Nyayo House are never ending. As early as 4am Kenyans desperate to acquire passports make their way to Nyayo House every day. While some succeed in having their biometrics taken, others endure multiple trips before achieving success. The prolonged waiting times have led to complaints of missed opportunities for foreign jobs and medical treatment as well as other important matters that inform the need for travel
I wish someone can take this issue to court and also block the new charges as well.
Increasing fees but no services.
People need to start going to court in this country. Can you imagine how this passport issue has harmed even those who voted for this government? People have missed education scholarships, job & medical appointments, once-in-a-lifetime events etc

Why cant the government close nyayo house and transfer those services of passport to all huduma centres and buy printing machines to all huduma centers supervice by KDF.

Fake and corrupt regime, am happy me and my siblings got our passports during Uhuru regime thanks God because Ile stress iko kupatia passport is like digging out to get a gold.
Who is going to reimburse these individuals for their loss of University attendance, loss of job interviews, loss of life for family member for medical procedures not being done , loss of transport lodging for the multiple trips to acquire a passport. In UK, we had mates who missed being hired for multiple jobs from past year as they have yet to get their passport processed due to constant issues with the "machines" , "biometrics" or one issue after another. Now fees are being increased for the passport booklets and those who even paid bribes are still yet to receive passports? This is disheartening that the issues continue in 2024 for the citizens in Kenya.
If Ruto regime can’t solve this simple problem, do you guys think that they are capable of anything… this is the worst regime in history of mankind
Kenyans are now paying 9550 for passports and there is still no valuable services,the usual long queues and the washroom for public use outside the premises are too dirty and unhygienic 😢
It's really hard to feel proud of your country when such is the situation you are forced to witness and endure year in year out. No wonder Nation Newspaper recently termed Nyayo House 'The Playground of Cartels.'

A very useless Government which you think is led by people who have travelled and know how others countries deal with such. You can have various places in each city and towns where people can go have their biometrics taken and passports. Does it have to be nyayo house. In most countries you just go to post office and there is a section for biometric capture. Then they are electronically shared to the main office which produces the passports
In USA if you take all requirements to a post office you’ll be done in 30 minutes… that included passport photo and biometrics. Tuko third world kwa kujitakia.
That explains why we are called third world country in a dark continent.
Why increase prices when the services are terrible.

Clearest indicator of widespread corruption. People are being asked for bribes at border points, and there are untenable delays in processing of business paperwork, other documents (e.g Certificate of Good Conduct) etc

Why can't they employ more staff members and work 24 hours? We have so many citizen's out their who can do a good job this will reduce the bribery issues. Ler the government make kenya a 24 hours economy where need be.
