I want to include my Son in the application, however his passport expired this month. Do you reckon I include him in the application and mention the expired passport date or should I reapply his passport and add him latter. He is offshore and to apply for his passport requires a lot of documentations.( He is a child) Thanks so much 🙏🏻

Would this mean Imy daughter and i need to hold a partnership visa to be allowed to enter? I know ot says Americans should be able to come in July, but my partner and I are hoping to find a way thats a bit quicker. Any clarification you can offer would be much appreciated. Thank you again.
Hi, So if you have a partnership then you can. For your daughter it will depend on the visa she holds. Partners (and children) of NZ citizens/residents from the US can apply under H6 for a border exception now as partners under CPVV. This would probably be the fastest method based on the information you provide. Arran
Hi, If you are from certain countries then yes. Places like China, Nigeria, Sri Lanka etc will be asked additional questions. They will then need to wait for a National Security Check, that thing that I call racist. Arran
Hi Aaron Thanks for the update. I applied RV2021 on 23rd of February on phase 1.5 and was being asked for NSC check so filled out the form with every single detail. Do you have an idea about the timeframe of NSC check?
Hi , Thanks for your videos and advice, I would like to know what if we meet the requirement for the residency 2021but on the online form section visa detail they ask smc number rfw number ...,what if we haven't those ? Can't we get the residency? If someone could help that would be great.
Hi, It sounds like you are using the form for phase 1/1.5. If you are in phase 2 then you need to go to apply.immigration.govt.nz and use the new form. Arran

It’s so interesting getting an understanding of aspects of immigration law, their implementation, & how the changes affect/ relate to other things! Yes, I know some might say it's a little sad/ odd that I enjoy understanding that kind of stuff...but I can only imagine how rewarding it must be to be able to help others realise their immigration dreams!

I have a question regarding this.. my wife is main applicant and she got post study open work visa and she went to india before covid and came back on critical purpose-VOC and then she again got a VOC on same visa for study on 22 sep2021 then our visa changed from CPVOC to VOC. Are we eligible for rv2021?
Sir I got Aip in 2020 nd paid my fees but due to lockdown i was not able to fly nd now i got border exception under 1000 students in sub digree level .sir if i applied new visa in nz immigration ...is there any chance of getting interview call ?

Nothing is mentioned on this regard. Waiting to meet partner since 2020. Already applied visa on 2020 March and made exemption but not worked.

Yes it is. Just make sure you either have a right to re-enter or you wait offshore until the residence visa is granted (assuming it will be).
