Hi Grace, I didn't make the block, I purchased it many years ago, but perhaps I will try making one!

Hi Sarah, Once again, thank you for these wonderful videos. You were talking about the vintage block being paper mache, is there any reason it would not work if I put on a swimming cap and then did a paper mache cover? I thought if I got a couple of layers of paper mache on the cover and let it dry (I am in Australia so it would dry quickly in summer), it could then be removed from my head, shaped and built up to be sturdy and covered to be waterproof (or even have something mixed into the paper mache to make it waterproof). Would that work for making a block of my own head? I have seen your video on using the cake decorating polystyrene block thingies but Ithought this might be a way of making facinatory or button blocks or something. Sorry, I hope I have explained this OK.

I have never tried your idea, but with most textile ideas. If you don't try it out, you will never know. Let me know if you give it a go xx
