ok, everyone seems to be confused when i mentioned about the mileage that my old car had which was 155k that i mentioned was “super high”. people are telling me that it was an excuse to buy a new car because i felt like it or bc i’m spoiled and that cars can last up to 300k miles which some certainly can. every brand is different and how you drive and take care of your car can definitely affect how many miles you can get out of your car. so it varies from car to car. it all around just wasn’t the safest car. also i wanna mention my last car i had i paid for with my own earned money and it wasn’t the cheapest first car so i wouldn’t just get a new car bc i was “sick of my last one”. i was very happy with that car but it started to develop problems that i would put money into to fix but it was just having too many problems to the point where it would be pointless to put a lot of money into repairs for an old car. I did pay entirely for my new car by myself with my money that i saved up for. so please stop the comments about me being ungrateful, spoiled or that my parents bought me this car. if i would of mentioned that i paid for it i would be “bragging” but if i don’t then i’m “spoiled”. people are so quick to assume and judge.

Terrible gas mileage. Not a smooth ride. And if you're gonna get a wrangler it can't just be a pavement queen. Gotta do some sort of off roading or there's no point in getting one, except for the fact that they're "popular"

congrats you deserve it!! my mom drives a 2015 Volvo suv and her past cars have been Volvo’s and she swears by them! they’re really nice cars, super reliable and safe. I drive a 2008 Audi A4 but my dream car is a Cadillac Escalade, 2018 or 19.

Key Brown beautiful machines. A shame they suck at being consistently operating. Even the screens inside sometimes don’t work and you have to reset the car and turn it back on just to wake them up. Then come the big problems... one thing’s for sure, nobody with a brain owns a Range Rover outside of warranty, so it better be a lease so you can get it out of your system and realize you were crazy 😅😅

I just turned 16 June 2nd and my uncle taught me a lot about what you should look for in cars. Look for price (obviously). When looking at cars and finding out the price you should put the mileage and price of the car into Kelly Blue Book. It helps you get an idea about how much money you should spend on that specific car. Dealerships will you tell you that on average people go from 12,00-15,000 miles a year. So you should multiply that by how how old the car is.
For example my car is 3 years old. So would multiply 15,000 by 3 and look at the mileage that is already on the car.
Congrats!! Currently have a 2010 Toyota Yaris sedan. I love my car so much. But my dream car is a lifted Jeep rubicon. So, once this one gets impractical I’ll hopefully be able to afford the Jeep.

Jeeps have a ton of issues just be careful what you wish for my sister had one and she puts over $5,000 into it and it was new. Just buy the warranties than. They also are HUGE GAS SUCKERS! Not great gas mileage. I've owned one.

That's why we Car Enthusiasts, do engine swaps, for a newer engine, with fewer Miles/Kilometers, and an engine that puts out more power to the wheels, a High Mileage engines can be healthy, if it was well cared for, and if oil changes were done on time, including all the fluids, that's old, dirty, or low, and topped up. My 97 Accord EX, with a 5 Speed Manual Transmission, had 349,000 Kilometers, original engine When I first bought it, and I spent about $2,500 to get it up to roadworthy, it's been reliable ever since, no break downs, doesn't burn oil, and it keeps going strong, but it was lacking in torque, because it's a Honda, they weren't made to be fast cars, unless modified.

I would stay away from Impala or any Chevy product that isn’t the Camaro (or Corvette, but I imagine that’s not really a thought).The Impala has been discontinued since 2018 due to poor sales and simply being outclassed by competitors. Chevy’s reliability in the Impala was always a big question mark, even in “the good ol’ days” when things were “made better”. Of course, in 4 years you might not remember all the specifics so I won’t get into them. Just remember to AVOID newer CHEVY VEHICLES! :D
