Melissa was amazing the first time around, but both Tony and Cheryl dropped the ball hard on the freestyles leaving it wide open for Shawn to take season 8. With how strong Melissa came back for all stars, I was so proud. She wasn’t my first pick as I desperately wanted Apolo to win, but she was my favorite season 8 and deserved the all stars trophy!!
Love them and their chemistry 👍
All I can say is that Tony can be creative. All he needs is a very good partner and I was so happy when they had Melissa be his partner again. As great as Shawn and Derek were (I mean they were out of this world amazing), my heart was really going for Melissa and Tony and damn I had the same reaction as Tony when they won.
Tony, you are a great dancer.
Mellisa is a great dancer and former Dallas cowboys cheerleader. She kicks ass!
Edit: they make it look so easy....I couldn't imagine dancing like that in heels!

I didn't catch her first season but this one made me a fan because she was against literal Olympians but still won over with her charisma and the chemistry she had with Tony. I was OK with her winning. Everyone wanted Shawn to win but just like I've said in the past, sometimes when you're too perfect - it comes off as robotic. And that All Star season had a ton of perfect duos with no personality. Also was a huge fan of the triple Paso Doble with Tony and Henry.

Melissa was my first pick season 8, despite being better season 15, ironically, Shawn was my first pick season 15, I liked her better with Derek than with Mark, but Im still glad Melissa and Tony won. Tony was long due for a win. I think Tony was the best at lifts, even better than Derek, but Derek was the best pro overall. Some of lifts Tony and Melissa do are sick.

Melissa Argentine Tanggo more smooth than Zendaya. She like the water. Amazing. But I love Zendaya too. My heart was broken when she just get 2nd rank. Poor Zendaya.
Was this after her time with the dcc? (As a dancer not a choreographer) I wondered with the group dance when the "players" came in
after I believe!

I think so too but to be fair Shawn beat her in season 8 when I thought Melissa should have won, so I thought it evened out between them.

@@duckducknight 2 days actually! The contestants have as many as 2 weeks practice before the first show. Melissa replaced Nancy O’Dell who got injured less than a week before the first show that upcoming Monday and according to Tom Bergeron, Melissa had her first dance practice the Saturday morning before the Monday premiere.
Kind of cheating as far as averages go when you can have a .5 score
Good dancer, wanted to support it.
But she is mainly known for The Bachelor, so no.
She was on DCC way before the bachelor
