This is what Portland’s “acceptance of public drug use” has caused.
So thankful that you are all right, sir and thank you to the operator for having his eyes open and stopping in time!
Typical suspect!
He’s not a suspect he’s THE SUBJECT
He'll get some time off the streets now.
inexcusable
He'll get room and board at taxpayers' expense for a while.
I used to ride the train on the weekends to pdx for coffee, farmers market, good restaurants. Not so much anymore. Too many weirdos, bad smells, and trash. Not too long ago they found a body in the creek at the elmonica max station.
Several years in jail will sober him up.
THIS is why we needed to reverse course on Measure 110... and why voters chose to return Mike Schmidt to the private sector. Despite persistent problems in downtown Portland, I am starting to feel optimistic about a nascent change in direction. Come September, law enforcement will be empowered to interdict in cases of open use. Add to that, the recent increase in the ranks of the bike squad. And, if Nathan Vasquez starts clearly demonstrating that there will be accountability and consequences, the elements that have been poisoning Portland will hopefully get the message and find their way to some other city that is still foolish enough to tolerate such BS.
Glad he's okay and kudos to the driver.
Bias crime?
I never go near Max stops. Never, ever ride public transit. Much less the crime train. By the way, why isn't this a hate crime?
Black guy, he'll get released . Meanwhile the road rage guy is going to jail 🤣
I feel safe maybe is because I know self defense
This extremely unfortunate, this what it look like when the Oregon systems fell people.
