On the preview if want to just see one image and not the others, move the others outside the work area and change your "start from" setting to Absoulute Coordinates. Boom, no preview of those images/layers.
Thanks Jeff. Good information. However I'm having an issue with the masking task. I've drawn around the object and then edited the nodes and followed your instructions on selecting the image and the line however the masking option does not show up. I've tried it on both my laptops, Windows and MacBook Pro. I must be missing something. Anything you can point me to find the problem?
Is there a good way to thicken skinny lines in a image? I try go through and change contrast and enhance ( i think). It looks good in the adjust image preview and on the print preview.. But once it etches the wood.. The tiny skinny lines dont show. Increase dpi (254 to 350) seems to help but i believe that is just a work around and basically double burning (or overlapping) the etch. Odly it makes the thick spots very deep.
great video ,just what I'm trying to do ,have the latest light burn I'm also on a Mac ...... but I've tried to control click both and the sk object won't highlight ???? don't know what I'm doing wrong . can you help pat
This will not work on my light burn..did something change in the new updates..1.5.02...Followed everything you did and this will not cut the picture out

I learned more than just the one thing I was looking for from you. Thanks!

Thank you, Krita has the same cut tool. It is very convenient.
Great, thanks for sharing
Could you show the final product of what your laser did? I have an idea for a project and have no idea what I need to do to produce it.
Good job
Nice job! For us newbie’s, it be great if you could/would enlarge the cursor so we can follow your movements better.

I put out a new video today about masking, maybe that will help. Feel free to skip through it.
