The wonder of these obscure but fascinating objects !! 🥰
Realy I like this video its so so interestyng
Maybe this is an interaction with infalling matter, the same way we see black holes
How old are the flashes your seeing..how many centuries ago did this actually happen. Most people cant grasp that starlight might be from long dead stars.
Measured in thousands, if not millions of years ago
About 8000 years ago!
Yes, the flashes are happening in the past, which means the death of the Star happened prior to that, and it's life then prior to that. If the flashes are in the past, everything else witnessed from the star is also. Not just the flashes.
So we are still seeing a star that in the past did die (or seem dead) then came back to life (seemingly). Those are still observations that stand. It being in the past makes no difference in endless space time. The events did happen.
Has this ever happened before ?
good question
Yes, it's part of the normal cycle of a Magnitar. We knew it happened, but had never seen it happen before

I would say no, not in the way that we have ever known it to be.
Magnetar’s are rare occurrences and little is known about them. At this time, it appears that this particular Magnetar is indeed unique in the way it is behaving.
Perfect nature.
Does magnitar know minotaur? Just curious

blud had totem of undying💀💀
Could this be His star?
Magnatard....a radio telescope can't see anything
I think its a message from God!
And in Jesus' name. I ask God to have the same object now go dark as if never there if it be in His Will...
Name 5 dead stars
