A hallucinatory journey on a boat that travels along the Nile River. What seems like a conventional tourist trip gradually enters a magical dimension, thanks to the oblique atmosphere introduced by the song Soul Catchers. The gaze lingers on funerary temples, sacred images, cult symbols of ancient Egypt. Images dating back to the 1960s shot on grainy 8mm film during a journey where the gap between reality and the dreamlike is slight. But as the Soul Catchers song says: “don't believe only in what you see, we believe they are holy men”.
