Brilliant! This popped up in my feed at at time when I have just got back into sewing and I have lots of scraps to use. I hate waste too, so this is another crafty thing to add to my repertoire!
That’s brilliant Susan. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope you find this very useful then! Do check out my other videos that show you what you can make with the twine. 😊
Hi Emma! I participated in your Zoom session last week. I am wondering if you ever tried joining many scraps end to end to make 2 strands, and then twisted them together? Vs adding a strip as you go. Is there a reason not to make two long strands to begin? Thanks in advance, enjoyed your tutorial!
Hi Chris! Yes you could do that; you could even sew them together if you have a sewing machine to hand. I do find that if the strands are too long then they get all twisted together on the loose end, so best to keep it at a length you can control comfortably. It's great to trial it to find the method that you enjoy doing! Hope that helps.
Thank you ❤

I do this with dried day lily leaves /straps to make garden twine! It is very relaxing to do, great idea to use fabric scraps👍💗
