I don’t think it’s lack of confidence. It’s that you are smart enough to know it’s lame as shit. The people who do that think everyone loves their car, or are idiots for not appreciating it
RCR roasting people for being showy at a cars & coffee while driving to one himself in a Ford Galaxy wrapped to look like Crazy Taxi. Also, roasting that guys dyno sheet right in front of him as he exited the car made me laugh so hard.
Every time I go to my local car meet I am surprised by the amount of hidden rich people that exist in my area. All of a sudden there are these rainbow colored lambos that I never see actually driving around
You don't have to be "rich" to own nice cars. You just have to be incredibly financially irresponsible, which the majority of middle to upper-middle class Americans tend to be. I've noticed that living above one's means seems to be a total lifestyle choice among the petty bourgeois of America.
Was expecting a dry slapstick dad joke about leaking fluids. Like, "And that's just me! Now about the car...". When she's a 10 out of 10 but has a matching R/C car. That's a keeper in my world.
One of my faculty members got a Lucid Air. He described it as "don't think of it as a car, but as a computer", which he gave the example of having to "turn it off and back on again" on more than one occasion. One such story involved him having to pull over, turn it off, walk far enough away so that the car doesn't detect the keyfob, then come back and turn it back on....
It is 100% a new generation of 240sx in the US, but now with a whole extra generation of wannabe drift kids watching Initial D (or MF Ghost, I guess) ready to throw Racelands at them.
I know you were going for the Crazy Taxi Player Character with that outfit, Mr. Regs, but when you're bouncing on the suspension, you're throwing off big Hunter S Thompson vibes. It kinda suits you.
I honestly think it started with 16, 17 year old children wanting to show their friends how much windshield obstruction they could get away with without wrecking or getting pulled over constantly.
As someone who worked at JPMorgan, that bit about the Audi starter cars is on point. They've moved onto Teslas now but the point still stands. There was also a Lucid in the JPMorgan parking lot.
7:23 You forgot to roast this one. "Hahaheehee, look at me! I brought a remote control car to a cars and coffee. I'm so funny and quirky, because it's a car but it's small unlike a real car, at a cars and coffee!"
I love interior door handles like that. Since it’s a hand squeezing motion and not a arm jerking motion, it’s not gonna get torn off eventually. Ford does this in their trucks and I’ve never had to replace one on any ford truck but the dodge and Chevys are another story since you can potentially yard on them too hard
The seats in the Mustang were the same as period. It was called the Pony interior. I will say, it's easy to upgrade non-Pony interior cars to Pony interior cars though, the seat foam was also more plush but it appears that the owner of that Mustang didn't put the more plush foam under the seat upholstery in that one.
Dear @RegularCars at 8:48 that’s a Lancia Fulvia Coupé, something you usually don’t see in USA, don’t believe it was even sold there in its day. FWD and a V4 engine, you should check it out…!
1:13 I restored the interior on a dark blue 1964 230SL identical to that one when I worked at an upholstery shop in Butler NJ in the mid-late 1990s. There was a 1964 Imperial convertible in the shop at the same time, and I think the Mercedes seats were heavier than the Imperial ones, despite being smaller.
He still gives them deserving roasts, but clearly has respect for anyone with car enthusiasm. The sort of person he really likes roasting are the non-car people who buy lousy cars, or buy cars because they think they're prestigious. Think the fictional "Tanya" character from the 2010 Mercedes GLK350 4Matic video, and I think she's shown up in some others. Meanwhile Roman hasn't yet found a vehicle he can't redeem.
The fact that it cuts right after that bro says, "Dude, on the new Beemers..." is perfect because that's exactly when I'd stop listening too. "Dyoooooood! The new Beeeeeemerz!"
Please do an episode with Dennis Gage sometime! Maybe walking around a museum and then driving something. He seemed really old 20 year ago when I was a kid but he’s only 68, I guess it might have been the old timey moustache. 11:33
When I went to Charleston last week I had seen two lucids. The styling on the outside is rather plane Jayne. I know why they are that way but they could have added some flare and pop to it
7:24 thats the most nissan pao owner shit ive seen in my life "my car is so cute that i brought a mini version of it so you pay attention to how cute it is"
First time here as an aspiring hobby photographer; I went to a car show last month to try my hand at photographing vintage cars. I now understand some of the hilarious comments you're making:)) At first I thought, who is this cynical douche? I mean, he's driving a vintage car too." and a few minutes in I was cracking up. Pretty clever stuff and on point from my experience. The day I went, the light wasn't optimal and I'd like to go again, just trying to choose wisely about which upcoming event to go to in the Hudson Valley area. I felt self conscious at first, thinking the couples sitting next to their cars in folding chairs would think I was a weird woman milling around taking photos. Have to say the people were very kind, and excited to talk about their cars for the most part. I've loved the look of muscle cars since I was a little girl in Va. Beach were the "squids" used to drive down Atlantic ave in their Chevelle's, GTO's, Chargers and the like. Was so happy to see a lot of those cars at the show and get the opportunity to take photos of them. When you joked about the car going about 2 feet before stopping, I doubled over😂 There was a beautiful El Camino with a Big Daddy Roth sort of look to it at the show & I got super excited. The guy showed me instagram videos of it starting and taking off, yet would stop at the end of the driveway! Talk about anti climactic! Wtf?!
I’ll never have the confidence to take a joker themed ford fusion out to a meet
No big deal. You just squeeze into your tightest skinny jeans, put on your flat-bill ballcap, and fill your vape with strawberrry bubblegum juice.
Surprised it wasn't an Altima
Is it a lack of confidence, or an abundance of taste that's really stopping you?
I don’t think it’s lack of confidence. It’s that you are smart enough to know it’s lame as shit. The people who do that think everyone loves their car, or are idiots for not appreciating it
Why so serious?
RCR roasting people for being showy at a cars & coffee while driving to one himself in a Ford Galaxy wrapped to look like Crazy Taxi. Also, roasting that guys dyno sheet right in front of him as he exited the car made me laugh so hard.
Gays, sir
Car shows are basically dick magnets. Not sure those Boomers on the lawn chairs realize how many people walking around are there ironically.
Wait he doesnt voice-over this footage? Commitment haha
Every time I go to my local car meet I am surprised by the amount of hidden rich people that exist in my area. All of a sudden there are these rainbow colored lambos that I never see actually driving around
Stays in their garage until cars and coffee time 😂. They have a BMW 7 series as their daily.

Same, specially to non car related event or places.
YES!!! Same, I feel like it should be easy to create content too!

No one does car shows like RCR ❤
CAR SHOW
That pre-war Packard @ 7:20 is surely the highlight. In red & black it would be a Cruella de Vil ride for sure.
"Twenty dollar egg store." - 90% of all breakfast places, lol
These are my favorite RCR videos. Thank you for brightining my day Mr. Regular.
I think you are totally right about the FRS/86/BRZ, 25-30 years from now, its going to be nearly impossible to find one of those stock.
It is 100% a new generation of 240sx in the US, but now with a whole extra generation of wannabe drift kids watching Initial D (or MF Ghost, I guess) ready to throw Racelands at them.
So you're saying grit my teeth and hold on to my stock one for a quarter century?

when the RC Pao footage makes you smile the most in a video
That Dennis Gage shout-out was worth the whole video!
Mr Regular's skills as a human gimbal are unparalleled
The cover on the corvette air cleaner is to keep the reflection from melting the hood. And it’s not a 365 cu in, that’s the power rating.
Ok, nerd.
Yea, Mr. Regular lost street cred for the 365 C.I. Chevy thing. But I give him slack.
I died laughing at the Dennis Gage reference!!! Classic!!!
Man, I love these RCR car show/parking lot roasts. And here I thought I was the only one who did this in my head.
I will never undertstand the point of Stickers on the frontglass.
PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW WHAT MY PERSONALITY IS!!!
I honestly think it started with 16, 17 year old children wanting to show their friends how much windshield obstruction they could get away with without wrecking or getting pulled over constantly.
Ikr. It only adds about 10 horsepower (give or take a couple hps depending on size, aggressiveness and vulgarity), but I don’t think it’a worth it.
I saw a camaro the other day that took his chevy badge off the grille and put a big "CHEVY" sticker on the top glass. I don't really see the point.
They really want to be like Ricky Bobby from Talladega Nights.

This is the kind of RCR content we need and want more of. Keep 'em coming Mr. Regular!
Agreed. That “come out” 🌈 video was a total letdown.

not a Alfa, a Lancia Fulvia
Fulvia is a sensuous word
Lovely little dirt queen
One of Lancia's prettiest cars ever. More so in HF trim.
Mulva? 🤷♂️
I'd love for lancia to rally my fulvia all night long
I appreciate that the more recent RCR car show videos compliment the cars instead of just making fun of them.
