  • So we fixed the problem with the endpoints by doing step.4 in the esc setup manual. We know that this problem is not a common problem but it can happen.
Anyway the planes flies just amazing. And the AS3X does a super job in stabilizing the aircraft. Still im going to use a 8 channel original receiver so i can get more trow without programming it via a pc or phone. And i will set it up with flaps also functioning as ailerons by mixing. Just like on my sky wolf.
And a big thank you to all that gave us tips around the first problem.
This aircraft is a good start for beginners who have flown a bit from before. But remember that it is large and that it uses large battery packs
If you wanna buy this plane in Norway then we highly recommend buying it from Elefun.no
With super service and great prices they are my first choice. And they have the pruducts from E-flite in both PNP and BNF

Wow Bengt. Very, very nice. To me one of your best. I had no idea there was a river so close by. What a fantastic landing by Tommy the glider pilot.

Thanks for a fabulous video. Im interested in this model and will own one soon. I'm new to the sport with almost two seasons behind me flying the 2.1M Carbon Cessna. Nice to watch a couple of PRO's fly!

I had to do the same with the ESC in my balsa Cub kit. Who doesn't love a Cub? Eternally classic

Looks like a gentle but really good flying airplane. Great that the issue with the esc worked out. Awesome landings! Might have to buy one for myself🤓

I bought the PNP version so I could use my AR6200 DSM2 Rx with SAT. It seems I heard the AS3X system Rx could possibly be the cause of servo failures because the servos are in constant motion. That didn't bode well with me so I swapped Rx's. I don't need the AS3x system anyway. I changed the stock ESC out right away to the Eflite 100 amp Pro Switch ESC. Its a no brainer PNP ESC. I changed the motor to the Power 60 and added the Eflite metal spinner and Xoar 16x8E wood prop. I also changed the tail wheel to a rubber Dubro with the machined center. I had to do a lot of mechanical adjustments to get the control surface linkages as close to 90 degrees as possible so I don't have to use a lot of Trim. (I hate using trim if I don't need it). Maiden flight coming soon if the weather holds up. My CG came out @ 105mm with a Tattu 7000mah 25c 6s all the way back in the batter tray in the 7000mah bracket position according to the manual. My first plane since my 20's. I've been a Heli pilot since 2005. I fly a Trex 600.

I can't get the power 60 here in Norway. so i need to order it. It is a bit lazy with the power 50. I have also removed the AS3X with an AR8000 and mixed flaps with ailerons. But for best effect i need a bigger motor to get more speed on rolls. Thank you for the informative comment Douglas. 😍

@@ArcticRc Your welcome sir. Set back on the maiden for me. I ordered some Callie Graphics to give it a more scale look.
      callie-graphics.com/products/e-flite-carbon-z-cub-2-1m-windscreen-graphics-realistic-see-through
I'm also changing all the Kwik links for the push rods to Dubro kwik links as I don't trust the Eflite ones. I had one of em break just testing the electronics. To be frank this is my first and last Eflite foam ARF. Its a nice plane and from what I've seen and it flys well but consumers shouldn't have to buy all the extra stuff like I did to make it better. Eflite should be thinking outside the box when they design things. Their really not on the ball sometimes. IMO I think FMS makes a better product.

@@ArcticRc On my maiden flight I noticed the plane taxied on the ground around 1/4 throttle. She was off the ground around 1/2 throttle with no flaps. (I only use flaps for landing). The P60 motor/16x8 PJN prop combination is proving true. I haven't been out again due to the weather now (it's winter here, lots of snow). So I don't see me getting out again till Febuary/March. But from the 2 flights I had, it's got uber amounts of power to spare and everything is cool with no extreme heat build up. I sooo can't wait to get out again and wring it out this time and put here through her paces. lol
