Gouki/Akuma isn't supposed to abide by TK rules because he is an SF character and his executions are way more high level than any Mishima characters. High level SF players in general have better execution than most of the tekken community (competitive tekken players included). That's just how it is. I never really thought of how his teleport becomes so good in Tekken. In SF, as long as you can react to the teleport, you can punish Akuma for a pretty hefty amount but in Tekken where recovery from whiffs take forever and very few characters have good movement option against it, it's pretty much a free go out of pressure move as long as there's just a tiny bit of gap.
Should more people try using mixbox, then? My guess is that some competitors will have to sacrifice the love they have for sticks to go for a more consistent controller. Maybe that way we will see more amazing stuff from other members of the roster too.
@@mallows9779 I know, it was just a little detail I noticed. Same thing happened to Knee against rangchu at TWT 2018. Happens to everyone, even the best.

I think the issue with Akuma, Geese and Aliza is that they have elements that the rest of the cast don't while being in the same field of play. I'm a vet in both Series since literally the first Street Fighter and Tekken game. When SF x Tekken was announced, I was hype af......but then the actual game was like wtf lol even so, I learned to love it being so in love with both games a d FINALLY having them together. With that being said, in SF x Tekken, the Tekken Characters were on the SF platform, but they didn't have any "Tekken only elements." The tech rolls, extra juggling, tag system, forward and back roll get up options etc that all come from Tekken, were available to EVERYONE, not just Tekken characters. In Tekken 7, the 3 characters I mentioned above, have elements from their own game exclusively that gives them an unfair advantage while maintaining the elements in the game they're in at the same time. To make things balanced, I think a few things can be done. 1: they give the entire cast meter, ex moves etc to even the playing field (I hope not, but it'd make it even). 2: take away the meter part entirely to just keep it strictly Tekken rules and mechanics for all. 3: take away rage mode, drive and or art for characters with meter, since they already have a mechanic to deal heavy damage and make comebacks on their own. I personally like option 3 the most as that would keep the character's unique while maintaining the Tekken format we've all come to love. In any case, Tekken x SF will eventually surface, and when it does, hopefully some the things I mentioned will come to light.

It is possible, but on a hitbox it's very hard to do misinputs due to the fact that it is just 4 buttons, the pad has the same thing but you dont press then individually.
Cbm didn't block a single low cause he was soo nervous... i mean, if he had blocked a bit more lows, he would've won (i'm not a cbm fan but that's truth)
It certainly is not. Jin does not evade lows while parrying, Akuma is completely invulnerable to all attacks after 5 frames, but he can be run up to and launched if you expect the teleport.
Without Akuma's usual low health handicap, his tools just put him way above everyone else. If Akuma had normal health and stun in SFV, it would be broken. It's funny seeing the twitch comments saying Akuma breaks the 3d rules. Actually, it's Tekken's own equal health rule that breaks Akuma.

Okay now I see why Akuma is kinda broken
Cbm didn't block a single low cause he was soo nervous... i mean, if he had blocked a bit more lows, he would've won (i'm not a cbm fan but that's truth)
The Blue d3 is hard to block try it
@@ChrisREDb86 i have seen jdcr block a lot that d3 by akuma.
ChrisREDb86 Knee low parried that all day if you watch his fight again
Knee but most amateur players can’t
Didn't see anything of qudans in this tourney, was he quickly eliminated or not there?
No he wasn't there. He was restreaming the event though.
@@ShaunInce123 Ah ok
The invincibility of akuma is just like a Jin parry mainman
It certainly is not. Jin does not evade lows while parrying, Akuma is completely invulnerable to all attacks after 5 frames, but he can be run up to and launched if you expect the teleport.
Without Akuma's usual low health handicap, his tools just put him way above everyone else.
If Akuma had normal health and stun in SFV, it would be broken. It's funny seeing the twitch comments saying Akuma breaks the 3d rules. Actually, it's Tekken's own equal health rule that breaks Akuma.
Oh shit you're right I never realized. Akuma is a glass cannon in sf games. In tekken he's just a fucking cannon
@@hi-us3mv No different from his other games. Daigo vs Tokido. Nothing new.
@@hi-us3mv Wow so angry. My condolences.
JDCR will kick his ass anytime anyday
