    I have struggled with depression all my life. My daughter told me about a video she wanted me to watch, but yada yada I was to busy and tired etc. So I heard it tonight not even realizing this was it. Everything you said rang familiar and I realized this was the video. So here I am 4am texting my 26 yr old daughter telling her I finally heard it without even realizing this is what she wanted me to hear. Thank you so much ❤️
    I listen to 2 other videos you have and I love how you are empowering us to be our own heros.🕊️

    I love the reminder of tackling something big by breaking it down so it doesn’t overwhelm you. This happens to me often so I’m grateful I listened to this episode!

    Absolutely love all of these hacks! I am working on being good to my future self by taking care of her before she gets here. You inspire me. 🌸

    Rachel- first I just want to say you are so inspirational to me!!! I love that you are unapologetically you….I love that you share exactly what’s on your mind, you don’t try to be someone you’re clearly not meant to be- and you are open & honest about life! Keep doing you boo, you’re a freaking rockstar! ❤

    Your organization strategy is exactly what I do. I love an organized home/life, but taking it bit by bit (especially if you're just beginning) is such an effective way to go about it! :)

    I've always gotten up early for as long as I can remember even before kids. I need that extra time to just have my own peaceful time in the morning.

    YES! I converted SO MUCH in my house! I have a sitting area in my master bedroom that has been my home office since day one! My "formal living room" was a "Christmas room" and then a catch all space - but I converted it into my craft room. My "formal dining room" was a playroom for my toddler - and I'm in the process of converting it into a library. And - my loft is my homeschool classroom.
    LOVE THIS SUGGESTION!

    That’s so true about leaving things in plain sight to encourage more use. I used to color EVERY single day in my “adult coloring book” with patters and designs because all my colored pens were out and as soon as I bought an organizer and put them all away I realized I don’t use them as much and was wondering why! It’s all psychological.

    Preset Coffee YES do this too, YES as I’m cleaning up dinner and dishes, I set the coffee 🎉, My kids want to take lunch so that’s amazing to add to that timeframe. I can’t stand going to bed with a messy kitchen it drives me nuts but you’re right it’s sometimes very difficult to do. - yes my husband and I just talked about that - having access to food that makes you feel good, I love that you bless the home and your space everyday I used to do it consistently once a week, love all of this! Thanks Rach!

    The trick to minimalism is to stop allowing things to come in that you don't need. And letting go of what you already have and don't need.

    Once again another great podcast from Miss Rachel. I am working on eating healthier cutting out sugar and carbs 90% of the time. So your advice on having this handy and in sight is perfect timing!
    I love everything you share Rachel and your extremely caring way. We are becoming better people because of you!

    Having to wear masks affects immune systems?

    • @rebeccarichmond1443
      @rebeccarichmond1443 2 роки тому

      Your immune system gets stronger by being exposed to lots of things. The mask prevents more than just Covid - so if you’re immune system isn’t exposed then it doesn’t have to work. It’s like when you don’t go to the gym for a year, then it’s harder to lift a heavier weight.

    • @jaimeallen1878
      @jaimeallen1878 2 роки тому +4

      Definitely… your body has to be exposed to stuff to build your immune system. When you live in a bubble you don’t get the exposure needed to build immunity, over sanitizing also hurts your immunity.

    Very materialistic and unrealistic. I can't believe people paid you all that money just to hear you brag. Lol
