Clearly he isn't the most experienced photoshop user. The best way to make the photo look real is to replicate the same lighting in the studio so that you don't have to edit it too much in photoshop.

The other classes included UX design, ethics and UML, in which I mostly read the slides and used common sense. I did maintain a >50% attendance rate on classses because otherwise I might have been in trouble but other than that I sort of took shortcuts wherever I could
