This happened not only in Paris. We saw it forty years ago in the south of France. Beautiful French villages changed in Algerian slums. Together with the villages a lot of cities changed completely. With a lot of money from the oil states I suppose. I saw this development in Berlin as well. I'm born in greater London. Enough said.

Used to work in Paris some years ago, walking down the Champs Elysees with migrants and SDFs sleeping in the gutters was not a good experience. After 15 years in France I decided to come back to the UK. France has become unliveable.

To me, France in its politics and culture has had a certain extremism built into it for 250 years at least. The moderation running through most of the rest of northern Europe over this era is partly in reaction to it. Few want to see themselves as being as _fou_ as a Frenchman (often, Frenchwoman).

I was in Paris a few days ago a beautiful city but did find the level of security was very high before you could walk right up to the Eiffel Tower, But now there is nearly airport security at it. French security is very worried and rightly so about a terrorist attack there.
This is sad to see, France is a beautiful and friendly country. However, when you do not care for your own people 1st, this is what happens.
You would think France has learned its lesson. Stay French, the U.S. loves your accent.
Only several places in Paris are free from devastation. This is why original Paris people are in minority in Paris (better places are little villages far away). Visited france , gennevilliers town . You can't even get a jambon beurre anymore. Only turkey ham jambon beurre... i was saddened. But had the best pita . Also saw cars windows destroyed because peeps wanna steal the baby car seat . But the couldn't get the car door open. So, results. A broken window for nothing. When taking the subway. As a Pole, I think most of Europe doesn't care about French migration laws. Most of Europe is unsettled by Le Pen pro-Russia views, so Macron could capitalize on that.

That's our smallest issue right now. There is no point in saving Ukraine while losing all of Western Europe to Islam.
