my general use case for brake bias is: If you feel like you are starting to get too loose braking while turning into corners, increase brake bias. If you start feeling it is pushing too much nose first and not really wanting to turn into corners on brakes, decrease bias. Also may vary with how you generally brake, like if you brake into ABS, you will feel understeer and may snap oversteer as you release into corner. A thing that can throw you off is also when you brake too late and carry too much speed into corner. You may often get a lot of oversteer that way and it is nothing to do with brake bias. That one you gotta be mindful of, best to try moving brake reference slightly farther back and try how it handles then. These are tricky. But general rule described above should help you in many cases decide what you need to do. It does not matter how many clicks you go where or if you think it is too much. What is important is how the car feels in the corners. And that depends on how you use your tyres and brakes. Gotta keep it just loose enough to have a good line and not lose the car and just tight enough that you dont plow. The sweet spot.

To be honest, I wasn't quite sure what to do or whether I'd get a black flag for it. Seemed clear to me the race was started and the drive in front wasn't on it. Figured it was worth a shot! 😆 Thanks for watching.
Haha yo man I’m the angry orange Porsche who was infront of you for most of this race. Not my happiest race, you definitely had it right about me driving angry, I got punted / blocked off the road fairly deliberately early doors and then forced that move on Phillip, to be fair it felt like I left way more room in the car and I was running out of road, but mistakes happen, I got DQ’ed from a 4x + off track because of that net code bash at the end hence the final comms, I’m not usually so quick to jump on the mic. Good content though dude glad I stumbled across this, good to see things from another perspective.
It's absolutely wild how often someone in the race I record finds it via UA-cam. I swear they're spying on us. :) Sorry if it felt like I was bashing you. We all have those races and drive a bit angry. I didn't realize you got DQ'ed, ouch. You generally seemed to come away okay in the contacts I saw, but of course I didn't see everything. I appreciate the kind words. Best of luck in future races!
@@chrisstewarttv Haha don’t worry buddy, I would bash myself watching it from your POV, I’ve always been of the opinion you should stay off the mic until you’ve rewatched the incident and seen what the reality is, I just lost my head a little bit with getting rammed deliberately, the first time in 14 years of being on and off the service.
