I know for a fact there are other lifeforms out there. There was even life on other planets in our own solar system millions of years ago. I have an image taken by the curiosity rover when it was in the Gale crater on Mars of a large reptile's fossilized remains. The wild thing is NASA employees know of it too because the Curiosity rover took a rock sample of one of it's fossilized vertebras and found it contained organic compounds. Indicating it was once a living breathing creature. It should have been front page news but they kept silent. I believe it's because they wanted to go back to Mars. If the universe is continuously expanding, there must be a spherically solid wall surrounding it. And how thick is the wall? There must be space outside this wall and another wall containing the space and so on?
Knowing there could potentially be life in those far away galaxies and that we could do nothing to stop them from moving away due to space's expansion just feels terrifying to me
The possibility of my sewer backing up terrifies me. I'm cant concern myself too much with potential aliens moving away in the distance. In fact, that might be their preferred motion,.
@@Prakhar_Pandey Why not? as long as the alien is several million/billion miles away, I don't see why anyone would panic and not release it to the public
I think the quote by Arthur C. Clarke sums it up nicely. “Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.”
Space is so cool to me, I’ve loved the thought that at one point in space you are far enough from earth you could see the exact moment the chicxulub meteor wiped out the dinosaurs, or you could go back and see the vesuvius eruption at Pompeii, space is so big that distance can become a sort of time travel
James Web's discoveries are getting amazing day by day, the hard work of the scientist involved in this project has really paid off and thank you for the great explanation of expansion of universe and Redshift. 😃👏
the idea of life potentially being somewhere in this universe is scary but exciting. seeing what other creatures are like and how they could be completely different seems extremally fascinating
It is absolutely mesmerizing just how enormous is the universe we live in. There is literally no way to wrap our heads around these vast distances and space. So big, yet appears so lonely.
For some reason, I've been more fascinated with these topics more and more lately. This video has done a fantastic job of visualizing and explaining the physics of our universe in a simplified way. Thanks!
I think that there is definitely life in our universe. The universe is big, very big and there are so many galaxies out there, so many possibilities. Life is not something that only happens once, it happens because of certain conditions being present and since the universe is so huge, there definitely is a chance of life happening in other planets. They (beings of other worlds) might be far away, young or dumb but there always is space for more life in the universe other than us. Also love the video ❤, very nice graphics and animation as well as helping me understand complex topics about light and our universe. Thanks for reading my comment 🙃
I really love your channel and the way you explain. I always watch with my nine year old son, he finds it very entertaining and easy to understand. Keep up the good work. :)
Hey Primal, brilliant video as always, can I also mention recently The Telegraph Newspaper did an article about a new NASA rocket which will cut journey time to Mars in half. What amazes me is how people discard the fact that we still don't know if it is infinitely big or just extremely big. If it is infinitely big, then it can be implied that there is also an infinite number of planets that potentially hold life. The variations in each form of life can range from being very similar to completely different, which for me is mind-boggling. Additionally, I find it unsettling that as a species, we are not advanced enough to thoroughly explore and engage with other potential life forms before they vanish into uncharted territories.
There's so much an average person would never know if not for videos like this. The explanation of how the galaxies are moving away from every other is fascinating. Thanks and keep making informative videos like this.

i think how much technology has evolved we could soon be able to create sustainable living spaces on places like mars and even discover other habitable planets in other galaxies! love these vids keep it up!!!
The question of whether life exists beyond Earth is one of the most intriguing and enduring mysteries in science and philosophy, but I think there is life out there somewhere we can't be alone in this universe.
It amazed me how brilliant human minds are to observe and harness even the most subtle clues to discover how magnificent the universe is and small we are.
The evolution of life on Earth from non-living matter to humans is a staggering feat with odds of 1 in a billion. And yet, we are still searching for life on other planets. This makes me believe that there must be some form of life beginning, ending, or growing somewhere in this vast and expanding universe.
When you zoom in on DNA, you realize that life is nothing more than complex physics and the nature of the universe. life is a product of the laws of physics and the forces that govern the universe. while it is true that DNA is made up of molecules that are governed by the laws of physics, life is also a product of evolution. Therefore, it is not accurate that life is "nothing more" than complex physics.
Given the sheer size of the universe it feels certain that there must be life out there somewhere even if it's something such as microscopic life on another planet

I mean the civilisation or even humanity has just existed for a glimpse on the timescale of the universe and the region of space that could detect our presence is very limited. Also, I like to think that other forms of life would be so different, that we would'nt even identify as such, considering that we already struggle to find a definition to life itself.

Cosmic mysteries and the question of whether we are alone in space have always stimulated the human imagination. Maybe someday we will find out if we have space neighbors or if we are a lonely island in the ocean of the universe. It's both interesting and frightening at the same time.
There are heaps of galaxies in our universe, and in them billions of solar systems just like ours and a chance of life in it. Considering all of this we are certainly not alone
The possibility of life formation anywhere in the universe is super low entropy. However if space is infinate, then the possibility gets greater and greater. We are evidence that life can exist, so even if in a form of bacteria, statistically life should exist somewhere in universe as well
The size of the universe is just beyond our imagination. We can't even imagine whether we are capable or possible of hearing other life in the universe in the lifetime of human being on Earth.
Thinking about the possibility of life in other galaxies could be the craziest topic. Also thinking about if the other possible lifeforms would advance anything like ours.
Nice video, I thought that the doppler effect was only in sound waves. I'm pretty sure there has to be some kind of life, otherwise it would be a shame that in the incredible size of the universe we were all alone.🌌
I think there has to be life (comparable to our own) out there somewhere. The universe is way too vast for there not to be. Love the video! Always great work.

There are heaps of galaxies in our universe, and in them billions of solar systems just like ours and a chance of life in it. Considering all of this we are certainly not alone
Can't really imagine how two stationary objects could actually get even farther apart. "Something" is just filling it in between them somehow.
I love the idea of not knowing if there is life out there bc makes us curious to explore.
So true!
The possibility of life formation anywhere in the universe is super low entropy. However if space is infinate, then the possibility gets greater and greater. We are evidence that life can exist, so even if in a form of bacteria, statistically life should exist somewhere in universe as well
'Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.' Arthur C Clarke
A great quote, and so true!
The size of the universe is just beyond our imagination. We can't even imagine whether we are capable or possible of hearing other life in the universe in the lifetime of human being on Earth.
💯💯💯
Thinking about the possibility of life in other galaxies could be the craziest topic. Also thinking about if the other possible lifeforms would advance anything like ours.
Nice video, I thought that the doppler effect was only in sound waves.
I'm pretty sure there has to be some kind of life, otherwise it would be a shame that in the incredible size of the universe we were all alone.🌌
This is truly mind boggling
Agreed! So much to learn, but so much fun!
I think there has to be life (comparable to our own) out there somewhere. The universe is way too vast for there not to be.
Love the video! Always great work.
