Good call on Richter because Symphony of the Night starts where Rondo of Blood ends, so Richter is the first character you play. Kind of amazing how many of your pre-direct watching predictions kind of happened.
Lol, Zelda isn't even close to the highest Nintendo franchise, it's sold like 100 million at this point and Mario/Pokemon have sold 500+ million and 300+ million respectively. As of right now, Breath of the Wild has sold close to 8 million copies so this can definitely beat that since it's crazy hyped at this point. Zelda may be critically well received but that doesn't translate into games sold.
I don't know about that. Sakurai was intentionally fighting against what the community wanted for so long, which is why I said game. Because he and Nintendo have trashed E-Sports, Indie Game Industry, Online Gaming, Downloadable Content or anything new from the traditional sort of gaming back in the 90's. Really Nintendo is full of some A-holes tbh. They even fight against non-profit fanmade games but it looks like they are finally starting to wake up at least a little and that's good.
There's definitely going to be a nice holiday Smash bundle this December which will push the sales numbers very high. Depending on just how good the game is, I could see it outselling BotW in lifetime sales. I've heard a lot of people who never get into Smash that are really into this one.
You think that "they could to better than K. Rool"? DK deserved a villain in Smash and the only villain that's been in more than one DK game is K. Rool. K. Rool IS Donkey Kong mail villain, so he had to be in Smash, specially when Ultimate seems to like villains (Ridley, Dark Samus, K. Rool...).

Jose O.R. E. It's just a personal opinion. I didn't play the DKC games so he doesnt hold much nostalgia for me. The roster is limited so in my mind I wouldve preferred to see something else prior to his reveal, but now that he's revealed im on board :)

As a sucky Smash player that has no choice but to play for fun because I have no skill, I am so stoked and on edge! I want this game NOW! My last dream character is Banjo Kazooie. If they add him, I'd cry lol. But they can also add Rayman, Earthworm Jim, Geno, then just picks that MIGHT be possible is DOOM marine and Skyrim (Dovakhen). More characters to be unveiled! Can't wait!

I remember back in the day, when announcing a new character just meant they show up in the game. Now we get extra spoiled. I always have to remind myself that the moment they announce a new fighter or echo fighter, they make the call to the toy line and have to mass produce a new Amiibo now. A particular game character announcement is now a toy announcement at the same time. No other fighting game made that promise. So much work.
In the unlikely event that no one has told you yet: The monster in the Brinstar Depths stage is named Kraid. You may not have liked Summit, but at least that stage didn't *scroll* ... (glares at Icicle Mountain in Melee) The Unova Pokemon League was in the 3DS version, not Wii U. Do you remember Magicant being in the former? Exeggutor's more like a wall than a platform. Just be glad that the characters that are Assist Trophies aren't merely collectible trophies or Mii Costumes. In fact, it's impressive that Shovel Knight -- the titular hero of an *American-made indie game* -- is in this *Japanese triple-A title* at all!
Not to be mean but the guy on the right said like 3 or 4 correct things that was instantly denied by guy in the middle and just in the spirit of correct information Richter was who you played first in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night before Alucard Chrom is an echo fighter of Roy but has Ike's recovery instead of Roy so he's a weird Roy/Ike mix And Melee is the best selling GameCube game with all the other smashes (besides 64) being within the top 10 (actually I think 3ds is the only one that isn't in top 5) beating out any Zelda games on their respective platforms although mostly losing to Mario Kart and other Mario games (or in 3ds case both Mario kart and Pokemon) There might be a few other things but that's what I noticed and kind of irked me cuz guy on the right was like super spot on and the middle guy was being kinda cynical and denying him when he was right but otherwise it wasn't a bad video at all and I'm surprised at how much guy on right knew offhand (sorry I don't know any of your names first video I've seen lol)

Appreciate the feedback! I'm dude in the middle (Matt) and Onix is dude on the right. Onix is for sure the smash guy in the group and knows his stuff better than I do. Definitely appreciate you pointing that stuff out though. Its been ages since I played SoTN. As for the smash not selling as well comments I had just read something about it being surprisingly behind a few franchises that I would've expected it to be ahead of. Spot on with the Zelda stuff. Either way, super hyped for this one and glad to have my knowledge updated. I'm just gonna defer to Onix Senpai when it comes to all things Smash related in the future.

Calling it now. They will announce a Hunter from Monster Hunter as a playable character. In their cinematic they will show the Hunter defeat Rathalos. As they are carving their loot the sky will go dark and another dragon will appear. Shenron! The Hunter will attack it in vain, but Goku shows up to save the day. Calling it now.
Onyx keeps saying how Wily's Castle would be perfect for competitive play if the hazards were removed. Wily's Castle without hazards is just the Omega form. Hazard Option removes moving platforms as well as the Yellow Devil.
Brayden Childers it doesn't matter with Pokemon, because sakurai has access to the Pokemon designs before they're released in the games, that's how he made greninja into smash 4 despite xy barely being out
