If people were to be more educated and we could do our job to stop the wrong information about who's a bad Muslim or who's doing what....none of this should have happened.....not all Muslims are bad individuals bad, however. This happened about 5 minutes from my house in Olathe. I remember trying to figure why all of the sirens were going off. Thank you from showing this andthank you to this man. What a hero!
As an Indian-Canadian I'm always scared/have my guard up when I'm in the States because of my skin colour, I never want to be in that situation. Kudos to Ian for standing up for a complete stranger and risking your life. There aren't a lot of people who would do that ❤️

What does being a democrat versus republican versus liberal have anything to do with this young man who saved another human being's life. If we would just look at each other without color, religious beliefs or financial status, we are people trying to live the best we can. Ian is a hero! It is the way he was raised. It's a rare thing when 1 man takes a chance to lose his life for another.
This young man is a true hero, only a very few humans ever earn that title as it is a much misused title. I feel for his parents and family, the trauma they have, and continue to endure. Not forgetting the poor soul who died in the incident.
What is surprising about this ordeal, as a European, is the suggestion that killing darker folk is not OK. Greetings from the European Union. A few of think having KKK in charge is a good thing, other over here think it's a great thing...

I would suggest that laying down ones life for a *stranger* may be even greater than laying down ones life for a friend. What an amazing young man, what a blessing he was to those around him who were saved by his act of selflessness.
