Those race start, item box, and race won sounds are so nostalgic to me. Also, those animations are so cartoonish, they kill me... in a good way. I was about to list my favourite courses but then remembered there were only a few I didn’t love: Toad’s Turnpike, Bowser’s Castle, and the one with the ice and penguins... Wario Stadium was pretty boring.
Back when games would release with no missing content or a ton of glitches, and they were actually fun to play unlike most of the newer games out now, companies aren’t trying newer things or coming up with creative ideas.

Plus with the remix of the SNES Mario Circuit tracks they made it three laps, not five, but I still love Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 7, even with the lap thing.
