Happy Birthday Seokjin! The new video was shot pretty quickly after he got out of the military service, so just back this summer. The thing about Super Tuna is that, when he released it the first time, most of us were saying how we wished the song was longer and had a second verse. So when he got out of the army, he did a mini concert two days later. He did The Astronaut, he did Moon (total fan favorite), but when the second verse of Super Tuna hit, the audience lost its mind. The lyrics were based on a very unlucky fishing trip. Jin is always happy to remind you that he is a superstar and Worldwide Handsome, but he's also Worldwide Silly Clown.

If I'm not mistaken the day the mv was released it hit number one on the charts. Army loved it, and definitely let him know ( so much for keeping it quite lol). ARMY joked that he was never going to forgive us, so it makes me happy to see him embrace it now and expand it with a second verse and have even more fun with it. Since he got out of the military, Jin has been showing up on a lot of variety shows and I personally think he has a lot of potential as a K-style comedian as his side gig going forward. (Not doing stand up, which is what I think American style comedians typically do, but more just having an entertaining character when he is put in a group of people.)
He does. He's an introvert but a good actor. The actor in him can overcome his shyness and as he said by making others smile or laugh it makes him happy. We all want to be happy so thanks Jin my smile is a mile wide😂

@HPReact I highly recommend! It’s a lot of content but it is in chronological order so you can go back to when “V App” first started in 2015 and then they merged with Weverse in 2022. But it’s all there and you think Jin is funny, you’ll end up loving each of them for their individuality but also how they just work as a team/group/family. The “rabbit hole” is never ending but so worth the fall.

Super Tuna was originally released for his birthday as a surprise for ARMY right after he'd entered the military. We were sad and he made sure to cheer us up. He was shocked that it started a tiktok dance craze. but seriously, its perfect for one. Those stuffed toys are actually dog toys and they sold out, much to the manufacturers surprise and delight, that december. When he finished the military, it was the day befor BTS's Anniversary celebration in seoul. He ran from release to performing in 24hrs and suprised us again with a second verse. Jin loves ARMY and takes very good care of us.
The first "Super Tuna" came out in Fall 2021 and only had 1 verse. The day after he left the military this year, he attended the BTS Festa 2024 where he performed some of his songs and unveiled "Super Tuna" with a second verse. We were so excited.

It reminds me of the old variety shows - Carol Burnett etc. They do skits, debates, cooking competitions and all sorts of great content. They started it before COVID - they couldn’t get a lot of air time so they created their own show. During Covid it really helped out and it aired every Tuesday.
