Zoo Twilights supports the Eastern Barred Bandicoot

All proceeds from the 2017 Zoo Twilights music series contributes to saving a tiny marsupial called the Eastern Barred Bandicoot.
Although the mainland subspecies of the Eastern Barred Bandicoot is already classified as extinct in the wild, Zoos Victoria has an ambitious aim to take them off the extinction list. This involves working with a range of community partners on a complex breeding and re-population program.
In cooperation with a range of partners and the Eastern Barred Bandicoot Recovery Team we are on the cusp of securing this small and shy Eastern Barred Bandicoot back to the wilds of Victoria.
