Vasilli I need one of those mini tractors like I saw in the video to move amazing compost just like that! Year by year that orchard is starting to come to life I cant imagine what its going to look in say 5 years. The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now. Maresi 👍
Excellent information. You said you would top your compost with straw and then bark. When you add compost again, do you strip back the bark or just apply it on top (layering)
Half of my very young fruit trees (apple rear and stonefruit) I can't even notice bud swelling yet. I'll be adding a thin layer of aged compost, maybe 25-50mm this month but normally wait until Spring before actually adding fertilizer. Anyone want to chime in and give advice? I've always concentrated on veg previously as we often moved house.
How far away did that compost have to come and what is the pH? You don't really want to take it too far if it's going to lose 20% volume in gas before it's fungi ready. If it had to travel very large distance you would want it earthworm ready and use other methods to neutralise the soil

The best part of this video was the hound dogs running all over your new compost. Happy gardening everyone from Queensland 💚🌲🙏

The compost is so rich❤

Haha that's shit hot mate
What life? What biology?
Compost shouldn't need to be rehydrated. It holds 20x its weight in water.
Dogpost😂😂
